Why then did Christ say it this way, This is not speaking of natural ears that hear, this is about hearing the Spirit of God.
37 He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. 39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. 40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. 41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
Another OT example regarding the same thing. They were not physically deaf.
2 Now Moses called all Israel and said to them: “You have seen all that the Lord did before your eyes in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh and to all his servants and to all his land— 3 the great trials which your eyes have seen, the signs, and those great wonders. 4 Yet the Lord has not given you a heart to [a]perceive and eyes to see and ears to hear, to this very day.

Exactly, and we only get those, when we become Born Again...Born Again of the Spirit.....it’s our spirit that is Born Again...that’s what some aren’t understanding?
Spirit gives birth to spirit.
It is just an example of someone who knows full well that none of the Translators/Interpreters of the English Versions of the Bible are divinely inspired persons of God.
The Spirit of God who reveals mysteries, but only does this for His people born of His Spirit. Otherwise no one understands anything.
1 Corinthians 2
And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the [a]testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of [b]human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the [d]Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. 16 For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
HAHA! Another attack on the scriptures....
Don't like what they say. claim the translations are not inspired and can be ignored.
Go and learn Greek? Which manuscripts are copies of copies of originals now lost.
The earlier copies are however very accurate written compared with newer copies.
The Man of God and the Word of God
10 But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, 11 persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra—what persecutions I endured. 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for [c]instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
It has absolutely nothing to do with anything about natural or unnatural ears. It all has to do with Jesus avoiding giving the Scribes and Pharisees something to bring Jesus to trial and killing Him before the appropriate time.
Matthew 13:11 And he answered and said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
Jesus turned to teaching in parables after opposition developed against his divine mission; and this verse shows that He designed the parables, at least in part, to conceal his teachings from those who were not sincerely seeking to know and do his will. The harmless and innocent stories which the Jesus told gave nothing at all for the Pharisees’ spies to report. "Mysteries" of the kingdom mentioned here refer generally to Christ’s redemptive message which appeared mysterious enough to those secular and materialistic persons who had no proper conception of the Messiah’s purpose. "Mystery," as used in the New Testament, referred to things concerning the kingdom of God, hidden from all previous generations; but then, in Christ, revealed to the apostles, and later to all mankind (Romans 16:25-27; 1 Corinthians 2:7,8).
That is a separate issue all to its own that might be a good topic for another discussion elsewhere.
You just subverted the message of why He spoke in parables.
Subvert means to undermine the power and authority of
Nullify is another word I would use for what you did.
The Purpose of Parables
10 But when He was alone, those around Him with the twelve asked Him about the parable. 11 And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the [d]mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, 12 so that‘Seeing they may see and not perceive,

Says the one who apparently has absolutely no idea where our English translations come from and why there are differences in them, or how to analyze what those differences might mean. So terribly, terribly sad. It is a sure sign of a closed mind and not the mind of one seeking to know and understand what God has said.
It's like don't like what scripture says, make up another story!
It's like don't know what the scripture actually says, and don't want to know if it doesn't live up with a personal preconceived message.
Which Bible is authoritative? ASV? DRB? ISV? KJV? NASB? NIrV? NIV? RV? YLT? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Wait a sec, are you saying that jabbering in tongues is like the golden ticket that proves you've got the spirit?

As you can read, some Calvinist opponents have problems with the scriptures, as in they don't like what scripture says. then they question all scriptures.
