Where in the Bible is THAT 'rule' written? Do you even know what the 'soul' is?
I've said countless times Genesis 2:7 plainly tells us all what a "Soul" is: that which comes into existence as a consequence of the union of the Body and the Breath of Life. This is inarguable.

Now, if the Soul comes into existence as consequence of this union, it simply stands to reason that at the disunion of the Body and the Breath of Life aka "death", the Soul cannot but cease to exist. That is why the Bible says "the soul of the sinner, it shall die" and converting the sinner from his error "shall save a soul from death". Moreover, "God alone hath immortality" and grants it only to those who "seek for immortality" because they don't yet have it - the sinner is not seeking for it, therefore he will not receive it. He will suffer the "second death" in the LOF at which time he will pass out of existence in eternal death...everlasting death...a death from which THERE WILL BE NO RESURRECTION.
I don't really care about the majority use of 'semeron'. I care about contextual use.

I do not see Luke 23:43 ALONE as 'proof of my position'. I see it as one piece of 'evidence' along with other evidence(s).
The problem is the context suggests no such thing as Jesus and the thief having gone to paradise that day. Paradise is where the Father is, and Jesus said Sunday morning "I have not yet been to My Father". Jesus merely died and was buried on Friday just before sunset when the Sabbath began.
Foxe was NOT Catholic. He was PROTESTANT.

"Foxe resigned from his college in 1545 after becoming a Protestant and thereby subscribing to beliefs condemned by the Church of England under Henry VIII."

Foxe did not tell Tyndale that "the word of the pope was superior to Scriptures."

"After the meeting with Bell and other church leaders, Tyndale, according to John Foxe, had an argument with a "learned but blasphemous clergyman", who allegedly asserted: "We had better be without God's laws than the Pope's", to which Tyndale responded: "I defy the Pope and all his laws; and if God spares my life, ere many years, I will cause the boy that driveth the plow to know more of the Scriptures than thou dost!"[23][24]

Foxe was a former catholic and this dispute with Tyndale occurred BEFORE he left the papacy. Also, Laws and Scriptures are synonymous for the purposes of this point of discussion. You papists are so brainwashed, such a blasphemous thing as saying God's law is inferior to the pope's law won't even move you to denounce him as the leader of the antichrist system that he is.
In fact, some of Foxe's writings were used to attack the RCC.
Hello? If the shoe fits, wear it.
I think what I posted above renders your sentence inconsequential.

I'm not denying that the RCC has less than a stellar history. What I am questioning is your assertion that "MILLIONS and MILLIONS" were murdered at the hands of the papacy. I would have accepted “many” or “a number of” or even “thousands”. But "MILLIONS AND MILLIONS" is a clear exaggeration on your part. Stick to the facts and provide your authoritative verifiable sources!
Church historians who are far more learned than I have stated this to be so. It's estimated by them that the number is between 50 and 150 MILLION "heretics" were murdered, many thousands in just ONE NIGHT during the St. Bartholomew's Day massacre. Did you never read of the Inquisitions? The many terror campaigns against the Waldenses? The Lollards? The Albegensis? The Bogemills? The lying papacy led many a child to fear the "cannibal Bogeyman" which was a Bogemill who would come and "eat their flesh and drink their blood" - because they refused to partake of the Eucharist, as did all who knew the truth, and held fast to Biblical communion.
So, you admit that you don't have the original source, right? You're simply dependent on a line or two you read on the internet, right? Because the internet is ALWAYS 'truthful', right?
So, you admit you refuse to believe anything written other than that which bears the stamp of the Imprimatur, right? How naive. Did not the pope Julius award Archbishop Marcellus a prestigious post for flattering him with "thou art another God on Earth"?

Why was this "heretic" not immediately handed over to the State for execution? Could it be the pope agreed with him? That's why the prophecy said the "man of sin" would "show himself" to be God - he wouldn't come out and say "I'm God", but merely "show" or "give the impression" that he's God by virtue of his own implicit and sometimes explicit words and his supporters' explicit words.
By the way, the documents mentioned in this thread aren't “being hidden” among the papist archives. If you want a copy of the source, you can either find a library that has it and/or, purchase a copy of it. The online libraries I've searched either don't have copies or don't have the copies available.
I'm not interested in reading the work of revisionist historians. I've already shown you the papacy outwardly pretended the problem of "heresy" was limited to a pocket here and there in order to prove how "everybody just looooooves the papacy" but in secret they admitted that "heretics" were an "infestation" that was "universal".

Thank you, but I'll trust my Protestant sources.
I don't go by the majority (as you seem to do) JUST because it's a majority. I also don't go by "claims." Is it possible that a group of 1000 can lie? Sure, if they all HATE enough. Is it possible that only ONE may be telling the truth? Of course, even if a thousand don't believe him or her.
Yes, that's what happened. The millions of people who adopted the Bible as God's truth and only guide for humanity decided to get together and ignore "thou shalt not lie" in order to frame the papacy as "antichrist" and expose it as the most corrupt organization on Earth.

See, I could forgive the papacy if they claimed the Bible is their only guide but violated it through misinterpretation - the Protestant world does that. The crime of the papacy is that they make it their boast that the Bible says one thing but they tell you to ignore that and do it their way. Protestants who refuse to abandon their papal seductions will share in the same fate as the papal Beast.
No, not "all" the history books ever written are a pack of lies. Try reading Lies My Teacher Told Me: Everything Your American History Textbook Got Wrong; a 1995 book by James W. Loewen.

Anti-Catholiseecs have been saying that the Pope is the anti-Christ with every turnover of a new Pope for the past several hundred years. It's nothing new under the sun.

"Another strategy early Protestants used to justify their separation from the Church was to accuse it of being run by the Antichrist, whom they identified as the pope. This too is out of whack with Scripture, which identifies the Antichrist as someone who claims that Jesus Christ has not come in the flesh (2 John 7). That’s hard to do if you are the pope, since your job rests on your being the vicar (representative) of Jesus Christ until he returns to the earth. Nevertheless, early Protestants made the claim, as some do today."

The papacy fits all the identifying marks of Bible prophecy!

You have never studied why they conclude this from Scripture.

You are not interested in studying why - you only know it's "false".

You, like Jesuits Alcazar and Ribera, approach the Bible with preconceived truth instead of a search for truth, and is why God will remind you on Judgment Day of this conversation when you ask Him why you're being judged.
The papacy didn't 'set up' the earthly priesthood. Jesus did.
Jesus set up no such thing - do you not understand that God Himself tore that veil in the temple and that was a sign of no more earthly mediation?

You papists will be judged for refusing to accept "there is one Mediator between God and man" and demanding God approve your counterfeit priesthood.
We DO agree that Christ is the "one mediator" between God and man. As for why we ask others to intercede for us well...it's in the Bible!
That is the most glaring example of Biblical distortion there is. How many is "one"? 50? 100? 1,000? 10,000?

Foxe was not a former Catholic. The dispute you're talking about didn't take place between Foxe and Tyndale, but Tyndale and someone else. Foxe merely reported the incident, but he wasn't part of it.
Hello? If the shoe fits, wear it.

Just the St. Bartholomew's Day massacre alone has estimates of 2,000 to 30,000+ who perished. That's a pretty big gap.
So, you admit you refuse to believe anything written other than that which bears the stamp of the Imprimatur, right? How naive.
LOL! That's pretty funny, considering who got me into Apologetics in the first place were non-Catholic Christian Apologists, such as John Lennox, J. Warner Wallace, William Lane Craig, Edward D. Andrews and yes, C.S. Lewis (for example). I couldn't even name Catholic Apologists, because I haven't read/viewed anything by any of them.
Did not the pope Julius award Archbishop Marcellus a prestigious post for flattering him with "thou art another God on Earth?
Didn't we already go over this a 'few' pages ago?
Why was this "heretic" not immediately handed over to the State for execution? Could it be the pope agreed with him? That's why the prophecy said the "man of sin" would "show himself" to be God - he wouldn't come out and say "I'm God", but merely "show" or "give the impression" that he's God by virtue of his own implicit and sometimes explicit words and his supporters' explicit words.
Wow. You complain about those "heretics" being executed and complain if "heretics" aren't. Make Up Your Mind!

We've been over this material before. Time to move on.
I'm not interested in reading the work of revisionist historians. Thank you, but I'll trust my Protestant sources.
And thank YOU, but I'll trust *my* Protestant sources, also. And my Catholic sources...and my Jewish sources...and my Muslim sources...and my non-denominational sources...

No, they don't.

Talk about projection! The anti-Christ is supposed to be "in power" for 3.5 years. The papacy has been around for a lot longer than that!
You, like Jesuits Alcazar and Ribera, approach the Bible with preconceived truth instead of a search for truth, and is why God will remind you on Judgment Day of this conversation when you ask Him why you're being judged.
Again, you're projecting. I still continue to seek the truth. Nice thing about the RCC; it doesn't limit us to Sola Scriptura.
Jesus set up no such thing - do you not understand that God Himself tore that veil in the temple and that was a sign of no more earthly mediation?
No more 'earthly mediation' or no more blood sacrifices?
You papists will be judged for refusing to accept "there is one Mediator between God and man" and demanding God approve your counterfeit priesthood.

That is the most glaring example of Biblical distortion there is. How many is "one"? 50? 100? 1,000? 10,000?
Personally, I couldn't care less about the priesthood. That's between the priests and God. But since James tells us to "confess our sins to one another", I'll take my chances.

Not getting into this other then to post the following.

Mathew 10:28
“Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

ergo: the body can cease. The soul not unless God decides it.

2. The Soul of Man“Self Conscience.” This is the middle part of man. This aspect of the nature of man is the seat of his personality, self awareness, mind, will, emotions, and the ability to connect with others.

As to Paradise. The following is a well explained description of Paradise and is why the thief did , indeed , go to Paradise, and Jesus was with him that day..... It is because Paradise was not YET where God was.

According to : Hell, Sheol, Hades, Paradise, and the Grave

PARADISE

While Paradise is not now a part of Sheol/Hades it will be mentioned here because it was located in Sheol/Hades at one time. Before the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ everybody who died went to Sheol/Hades, which was at that time divided into at least two compartments. One was a place of torment while the other was a place of blessing, which was referred to as Abraham’s Bosom (Lk. 16:22-25). As we mentioned before, Tartarus may be a specific place in Sheol/Hades.

We know that Jesus Christ went “into the lower parts of the earth” (Eph. 4:9), that is to Sheol/Hades, “in the heart of the earth,” for three days and nights while his body was in the grave (Mat. 12:40). The Lord Jesus told the repentant thief that he would join Him in Paradise that same day (Lk. 23:42,43). This tells us that Paradise was located in Sheol/Hades at that time. We believe that this was the same place referred to as Abraham’s Bosom in Luke 16. However, after Jesus Christ rose from the dead He ascended to the Father, taking the saints who were in Abraham’s Bosom to heaven with Him. Thus, He took “captivity captive” (see Eph. 4:8-10).

That Paradise was moved to heaven is confirmed to us by the Apostle Paul who speaks of a man who was “caught up into Paradise” where he “heard unspeakable words” (II Cor. 12:3,4). With Jesus Christ’s work complete, the believers who had been confined to Sheol/Hades were now taken to Heaven to wait in God’s presence until the time of their resurrection to enter His Kingdom on Earth. Since that time, at death all believers go to Paradise in Heaven to await the time of their resurrection. This is true whether they belong to the Kingdom Church of the future or the Body of Christ Church of the present Dispensation of Grace.
It was not the body that went to Sheole/Paradise/ Abrahams bosom.... and it was not the spirit.

We know the body returns to dust. We know that the spirit goes back to God who gave it...

Ecclesiastes 12:7
"then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it."

Carry on.....

Why so? What makes you think there was booze in that cup and not merely grape juice?
Oh goodness.....I want to believe that you are not being serious, but it appears you are. :(

How about this......give your evidence that it was juice and not wine. coffee:

Here is my evidence that it was wine and not juice.

Scripture tells us Jesus drank wine (Luke 7:34) often enough that his detractors accused him of being a drunkard. His first recorded miracle was to turn water into wine (John 2:1-11). 1 Corinthians 11:20-21: “When you meet in one place, then, it is not for eating the Lord’s Supper, for in eating, each one goes ahead with his own supper, and one goes hungry while another gets drunk. That passage alone suggest that they drank wine while "eating the Lords Supper" !!!!

Acts 2: But others sneered and said, “They are filled with new wine.” 14 But Peter, standing with the eleven, raised his voice and addressed them, “Men of Judea and all who live in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen to what I say. 15 Indeed, these are not drunk, as you suppose, for it is only nine o’clock in the morning.

The earliest historical Christian writings we have say that wine was used in communion. It was only AFTER the Protestant Revolution (that divided Christianity) is the teaching that juice was used.

Scripture and history once again prove you wrong and that your Protestant men have lied to you!

Keeping it real with the facts from Scripture and history.........Mary

How could the contents of that cup be "transubstantiated" into Christ's blood when He hadn't even shed it on the Cross yet?

"This is My body/blood" were as much at the Last Supper symbolic words having nothing to do with "transubstantiation" superstitions as they are today in our Communion services.
I'm not playing your game kiddo ;) soooooooooooo......lets try this again. Please answer the question instead of asking questions:

When you partake of your juice and bread in remembrance of Him do you agree with or repeat His words; This IS my body/blood? Or do you say this is a symbol of His body/blood? Or do you repeat his words but in your heart say it's a symbol of His body/blood?

And yet, all these catholic "heretics" are allowed to "recklessly" print "lies" century after century without anyone getting excommunicated, right? Just like all those priests who are sent to "treatment centers" instead of being kicked out of the church and sent to jail?

You're not fooling anyone, DB.
And this nonsense that Catholic priests are the only one molesting children is a FAIRY TALE of your own invention .

Your SDA back yard is pretty messy . . .. . .

It appears NO papist is ever in danger from any pope when he publishes "lies" claiming the pope is "god on Earth" or "Jesus Christ, hidden under veil of flesh" or "the Holy Scriptures must be thrown aside", right?
Moving the goal posts when you get caught LYTING again??

I asked you to provide PRIMARY sources for your claims – and you
FAILED . .
Why isn't the Jesuit Catechism on the papacy's list of banned books, DB? You have NO ANSWER because you know the only correct answer is this: the Jesuit Catechism is accurate and accepted by the papacy.

Have you never read Loyola's "Spiritual Exercises"? The man was talking to DEMONS and his ideas are straight out of demonic Eastern religion.
And by your complete LACK of quotes – it’s glaringly apparent that YOU’VE never read his writings.

YOU can’t even discern the false prophecies of your founder/goddess,
E. G. White . . .
You mean unBiblical doctrines like "innate immortality of the soul"? What a shame "protestants" of our day have been seduced by the baptized paganism of the papacy but there are always sincere seekers of truth who weigh the evidence and abandon papal lies.

There is not a single text that supports the lie of the serpent in Eden, so it's understandable why the papacy fully embraces it.
And the idea of a mortal soul is a perversion of your founder/goddess.

It’s quite apparent that you’ve made the SAME stupid mistake that SHE did by thinking that the serpent was talking about the soul and not the flesh.

You were an easy mark for the foul, unbiblical SDA doctrines . . .

I've never heard such a collection of nonsensical bulldookey. The pope has ZERO power to save or consign anyone to "purgatory" or hell, and if I ever met him, I would tell him he's a pathetic crusty old sorcerer of Satan and leader of the Antichrist system who delights in enabling his false priests to harm innocent kids, and unless he repents he and all his impenitent followers will beg God for mercy just before they are all cast into the Lake of Fire.

The pope has ZERO power over me and never will. I defy him as Satan's Man of Sin and all who follow him are the worst kind of pathetically deceived individuals to ever grace the topside of the Earth.

Purgatory is not Biblical. The papacy does not represent Christ. The catholic priesthood is not Biblical. These and much more are, as Luther said, from "the Roman dunghill of decretals".
Another idiotic, ill-thought-out charge from a lost SDA soldier.

The Church doesn’t teach this nonsense, so the onus is on YOU to provide this teaching from the Catechism.

If you can’t – you’re just another desperate, anti-Catholic
LIAR . . .

I know right! The catholics are so mistreated.... it's just racists to not bow down and embrace catholic theology and throw God's Word in the trash!
Racists? Huh??????? Is that really the word you meant to use?

Which protestant theology should we bow down to? Baptist? Lutheran? SDA's? Methodist? etc. The one YOU prescribe to?

The papacy for centuries made "murdering heretics" into a spectator sport - yet, somehow all these "heretic catholics" publish false claims that the pope is "another God on Earth" and "the holy Scriptures must be thrown aside" and NONE OF THEM GET KILLED?

You ain't fooling anyone with your lies, DB.
No - YOU’RE not fooling anyone with YOUR lies.

You have repeatedly FAILED to provide a SINGLE primary source for your idiotic “quotes” - and have instead doubled-down by regurgitating the same unsubstantiated
excrement . . .
Except all those little kids from ALL OVER THE WORLD, right?

They may have stopped slaughtering "heretics" but at the very least they could EXCOMMUNICATE these "heretic catholics", right?

Again, you ain't fooling anyone with your lies, DB.
Another idiotic statement based on your abject ignorance and refusal to do your HOMEWORK before flapping your gums.

Time for a
Catechism Lesson . . .
For your information – people are excommunicated EVERY DAY. It doesn’t take a formal declaration from the Pope to be excommunicated. There are TWO types of excommunication:

1) Latae sententiae excommunication, which takes place automatically upon the commission of a particular offense – such as murder or abortion or proclaiming heresy.

2) Ferendae sententiae excommunication, is when a bishop has warned a person who refuses to stop committing an offense.

So – do your homework before embarrassing yourself . . .

Why won't the papacy excommunicate these innumerable "catholic heretics", DB? Because, as you know but won't admit, the papacy has ZERO problems with what they print.
Refer to the Lesson above, where I schooled you on the particulars of excommunication.

Now – if you can’t provide PRIMARY sources – you’re just another angry, SDA liar . . .

Don't even try to go toe to toe with me on this, DB, or I'll use the sword of the Spirit to stab clean through this popish satanic doctrine that sits upon "the Roman dunghill of decretals".

"Lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death".
"Our friend Lazarus sleepeth...Lazarus is dead".
Moses, who DIED, spoke with Jesus at the Transfiguration (Matt. 17:1-6).
He wasn't "sleeping" . . .

Jesus DIED on the cross.
Scripture tells us that He was BUSY during this time, preaching to the souls in prison (1 Pet. 3:19-22).
He wasn’t
“sleeping” . . .

So, why does Liguori in "Dignities and Duties of the Priest" apply Damien's claim that "the sentence of the priest precedes, and God subscribes to it" to the church's presumed "power of delivering sinners from hell, making them worthy of Paradise, and of changing them from the slaves of Satan to the children of God"?

Do you believe God Almighty has no choice but to go along with whatever a lost papist of the antichrist system in Rome says must be?
Have you ever actually READ Alphonsus Liguori??
I didn’t think so.

His writings are filled with symbolic or otherwise allegorical language. RARELY does he write in realistic tones.

Only an ignorant or otherwise, uneducated mind wouldn’t be able to discern this . . .

Let's be clear: the only manure covering the ground falls from the ruined backsides of papist priest members of your satanic death cult - how in the world can an excommunicated/anathematized catholic go to heaven when he's unable to have his confessions heard or receive the last rites or partake of any other of your death cult sacraments? This satanic "toothless tiger" superstition is what kept even monarchs in fear of the papacy during the Dark Ages.
Do you have an SDA book that teaches you this idiotic manure – or does it just spill out of your backside naturally?

An excommunicated person ALWAYS has the opportunity to confess his sins.
That is the purpose of excommunication – to being the person BACK to the fold through discipline.

Check your BIBLE, son (1 Thess. 3:14).

God's Word does not teach catholicism, so you should REPENT and follow God's Word instead,.

Give your evidence it was alcoholic wine and not grape juice!
Give your evidence they had refrigerators to preserve freshly squeezed grapes.

Matt. 26:27,29; Mark 14:23,25; Luke 22:17-18; 1 Cor. 11:25-27 – Jesus instituted the Eucharist using wine and commanded us to “do this in remembrance of me.” We know that Jesus instituted the Eucharist at the Jewish seder meal, which required the use of wine. Yet some Protestant churches forbid drinking wine. Such a prohibition is not based on the Scriptures.

Luke 7:33-34 – God the Son drank wine and was accused of being a drunk. Is Big Boy that forbid the drinking of wine doing the same?

John 2:1-11 – Jesus’ first miracle was turning water into wine which was drunk at the wedding at Cana. Wine is a symbol of the life of the Church, in both the Eucharist and, here, the sanctification of the sacrament of marriage. Verse 10 also indicates that the people drank enough wine at the feast to the point that they might not have recognized good wine from bad wine. Yet Jesus creates for them more wine to drink.

1 Tim. 5:23 – Paul tells Timothy to drink not just water, but a little wine for the sake of his stomach and frequent ailments. If Paul under divine inspiration encourages the drinking of wine, why does Big Boy prohibit it?

Gen. 14:18 – Melchizedek offers a bread and wine sacrifice, and Jesus is the Priest in the same manner. Heb. 5:6,10; 6:20; 7:15,17.

Gen. 27:25 – Isaac brought Jacob wine, and he drank, with God’s favor.

Neh. 8:10 – Nehemiah commands the faithful to drink sweet wine to celebrate the Lord and His holy day.

Psalm 104:15 – the Psalmist writes that “wine gladdens the heart of a man.” God gave us the fruit of the vine to enjoy.

Ecclesiastes 9:7 – “drink your wine with a merry heart, for God approves what you do.”

Wisdom 2:7 – “Let us take our fill of costly wine and perfumes!”

Sir. 31:25-28 – “Wine is like life if drunk in moderation.” God created wine to make us glad, so we rejoice in heart, and have gladness of soul.

Sir. 40:20 – “Wine gladdens the heart.”

Isaiah 25:6 – God will provide a feast of rich foods and choice wines.

Amos 9:14 – God declares that His people shall plant their vineyards and drink their wine.

Zech. 10:7 – God says that when He saves His people, their hearts shall be glad as with wine.

2 Mac. 15:39 – this verse also describes the pleasure of drinking wine. The point is that all God made is good, and we are called to enjoy His good gifts, including drinking wine, as long as we do so in moderation. And while we drink in moderation, the miracle that Jesus performed at the wedding feast at Cana suggests that we can have a second glass!

The process for preserving grape juice without fermentation was first developed by the Welch's Grape Juice Company in 1869.

Give your evidence they had refrigerators to preserve freshly squeezed grapes.

The best stuff was made fresh and had not had time to start rotting and start fermenting.

And, back then they mixed the fermented stuff with water and it was nothing like the alcohol content in modern day wine... they did this because the water was not that safe to drink.

Bottom line was nobody was getting drunk like they are today claiming it's OK because they drank "wine" in the bible.

Wine simplyt means fruit of the vine unless in the context it is saying it was strong drink.

Give your evidence it was alcoholic wine and not grape juice!

You should look up the word facetious

catholicism is just another satanic cult like mormons, jehovah's witnesses, new age, satanic temple, reformed theology, calvinism, etc, etc.

God's Word does not teach catholicism, so you should REPENT and follow God's Word instead,.
God's Word doesn't teach that the wine was actually grape juice, either.

If "nobody was getting drunk..." then why are there so many *warnings* in the bible about getting drunk?

Eve 1 Timothy 5:23 says, "Do not go on drinking only water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments."

Not grape juice...

God's Word doesn't talk about computers...or indoor bathrooms...or having an Olympic event called, "Curling"...

Maybe *you* should step away from your non-biblical computer and REPENT and follow God's Word instead...

Oh, no??

John 2:10

Then he called the bridegroom aside and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”

NOBODY drinks so much non-alcoholic wine to the point where a cheaper version starts to taste good to them.
Figure it out, pal . . .

It is "fruit of the vine" and grapes grow on vines

And yet, people were drawing water and drinking it...

Yes, and putting a small amount of alcoholic wine in to kill bacteria

If "nobody was getting drunk..." then why are there so many *warnings* in the bible about getting drunk?

Sinners were getting drunk... so they had to go out of their way to tell the false brethren that getting drunk is one of the sins listed in God's Word that cause people to not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:19-21
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Not grape juice...

Wine is... grape juice (fruit of the vine) that started going bad which is part of the fermentation process that causes the alcoholic content to eventually become present

Since you claim computers are evil.... you obvious believe it's OK to walk in that which is evil.

You're little fake argument here is ignorance gone to seed.

I didn't claim computers are "evil." It was *you* who was spewing off about that God's Word says this, and God's Word DOESN'T say that. You said that "God's Word doesn't teach Catholicism."

Well, my POINT is, that God's Word doesn't 'teach' a LOT of things...

So, if God's Word doesn't 'teach' about computers, according to your 'logic', you shouldn't be sitting behind a computer right now.

God's Word doesn't specifically talk about picking your nose or scratching your you-know-what's. And yet, you probably do both.

Sorry to burst your little bubble, but without Catholicism, you wouldn't be where you are NOW. You wouldn't have the Bible you hold in your hands NOW...You wouldn't have at least SOME of the beliefs you hold NOW...

Oh, o.k. Where is THAT in the Bible? *flipping through bible*..

Nope. Ain't seein' it.

You need to STOP using 'one-liners' to present your *ahem* "case". The point of Galatians wasn't about NOT drinking wine; it's about drinking wine to excess. BIG difference between having a glass of wine with dinner, as opposed to drinking ALL DAY.
Wine is... grape juice (fruit of the vine) that started going bad which is part of the fermentation process that causes the alcoholic content to eventually become present
Once again, Bible citation, PLEASE....
