It was just a bit cooler yesterday. Was glad because I walked to the opthalmologist.

My eye pressure came down a bit more....now 13/14. Have cataracts but they are not too bad. Right eye has a worse cataract.
I won't deal with it right now.

It's very cool out tonight. Just have the window open a couple of inches. Going to turn in shortly.

The forum seems slow to me.

Hi @Debp, I hope you have a good night. I will pray for you some more for your eyes.

It's been cool here too. Very pleasant. I'm just waking up now and got some online church in. Working on my projects. Got some coffee and breakfast.

We have pretty good weather here, but not as good as California. I had a really good time there in the 2000's. Miss it.

Thanks for your prayers.

California got too expensive. Here in Los Angeles including my area, they keep building luxury apartment buildings. And they start about $2500 for a one bedroom....other areas are even more expensive.

Someone told me that a studio apartment (one room) in downtown was even $5,000 a month!

I miss the rain...you get plenty in Seattle, right? How are the rents there for one bedroom apartments? Just curious.

Yes we get plenty of rain. Rent here is around $1,250 last I checked, but that was before inflation hit.

That's about what my mom and I pay....$1265. Because I have lived here for so long, and rent control only allows a 4% increase each year, our rent remained lower. New people moving in to this older building pay $1800....one bedroom.

Thankfully due to the Pandemic, our mayor froze rents for about three years. But we missed the first rent freeze by two months.

The rent freeze will be going away next year. Would be nice if they kept it one more year.

Got to eat and make mom some tea.

It's 6:21AM here and Im waiting for golden hour. It's the hour after sunrise or the hour before sunset. Great for taking photos. My husband and little one are asleep and the place is quiet.

Time to take some deep breaths and get some tea. After golden hour, I can likely get some time in Scripture.

Hello everyone.

About ready to sign off.

It was a somewhat cooler day yesterday. Ordered some groceries but forgot to order celery for making chili. Oh well. Can make spaghetti first.

Glad you had a safe trip @Pathfinder7. Scotland sounds super.

Good to hear you are able to get some rest @Wynona. Having a newborn is great but can be tiring at times.

@Debp had spaghetti last night, sounds tasty to have it home made.

I'm getting some coffee and waking up now.

For me it would be experiencing the home of golf and playing St Andrews and some other courses. :)

My son had a destination wedding in Ireland last fall and I was able to play 4 courses there. so Scotland is on my bucket list.
