Jesus is first and last in certain things, But only YHWH(Jehovah) is the first and last true God.
Jesus is "the first and the last". 'Jehovah' is "the first and the last". They are the same. Stop with the JW evasions! Unless you think Jesus was blaspheming?

The NWT isn't truth? That's only when it doesn't agree with your personal doctrines! Even the JW bible says that Jesus is God!!!
NWT Isaiah 44 This is what Jehovah says,The King of Israel and his Repurchaser, Jehovah of armies: ‘I am the first and I am the last.

He himself is God, because he is Emmanuel ! That means God with us ?
So He is our God in fact, the Key for us to understand ! Because outside of Christ Jesus = Our Lord and Saviour ! No one can come to the Father in fact ! As no one can come to the Father but only through his only begotten Son !
So if one does not have the Holy Spirit you can not pickup in regard to such because one is dead ? carnal and of this world.
Christ Jesus is the Holy Spirit, for he is one with this ! as he is one with the Father, all 3 are of the same. that's why Christ Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega !
If one tries to look for God the father outside of Christ Jesus, they will never find the Father, for they will have another god and other gods ? like Islam and the Jews etc only peddle. For they only have a religion ? and religion does not Save ones Soul, only Christ Jesus can do that in fact ! even a atheist is religious in fact as is everyone regardless what they may claim, no society ever all through history was ever not religious, not even Communism, that being a religion in it's self in fact.
One has to be truly born again to understand who Christ Jesus truly is. So he is the God with us, meaning just that, He said he would never leave us ? The Saved are not Lost ? for we have Christ Jesus and he us ? we are his united with him !
Jesus says that he is not the God of the Dead ?
But that Jesus = Salvation ! that is his function is to Save ones Soul ! For he is the Light and not the Darkness in fact ? He is for you ! and all who are alive and he will give such Life in abundance ?
Now this world robs on of that Life in abundance that Jesus is on about in fact.
Life in abundance means more regarding that you are what God intended us to be ? not Lost and under deceptions and delusions of this world, but of the Kingdom of God in fact. The Light enters such a one.
On the other hand one is owned by the darkness a slave to such darkness and a abomination to ones self and all.
And that's all true, but you shouldn't have stopped reading. Christians don't just pick the verses they like.

Jesus is first and last one created direct. First and last appointed king-first and last sent to earth to be the ransom sacrifice. ,Etc. But Jehovah is the first and last God.
They're both right and Kingdom Hall is wrong! Haven't you read the NWT???
