I will not say yes in answer to your question, because I do not know what God has revealed to everyone else. Some, certainly say that they already do have eternal Life, but God has not shown me all of their hearts.

I simply continue seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. If I do that unto the end of my course as a man following Him, will it not be mine?
Wise words, Ama!

Do any who have eternal life know they have eternal life?

Much love!
1 John 5:11 - And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. Praise God! :)

Do all who have eternal Life, know they have eternal Life?
Everyone born from above through Jesus Christ, Whose name is above all in Heaven and Earth, Whom no one can get to the Father except through Him. They know they have eternal life. In themselves they have positive assurance of their salvation.

@amadeus I guess the question really should be what is Eternal life - wouldn't it be the newness of spiritual life? Mark shared a good verse, of the assurance of that life.

That life must be the Holy spirit - life, the Spirit of Christ - within a believer.

However you also bring up a great weight, in the scale of it - as "Every professer in Christ - may not even fully believe in their heart God raised them from the dead", how could they have eternal life with-in them?

While there is the abstraction exception of those who are out there with no bible, and can only submit themselves to God through the saying "Wow there is someone greater than me - that created all of this life - and bowing the knee and having a change of heart."

What do you think about these things?

John 17:3 KJV
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Romans 8:15-16 KJV
15) For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16) The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Amen!!!

Titus 2:11 KJV
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

John 1:9 KJV
That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

I think these places tell us that God speaks to us all in some form or another.

Romans 1:19-20 KJV
19) Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20) For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

I remember being 10 years old, looking up at the sky one night, just knowing that Someone created all of this.

Much love!

That is cool.

My mother enjoys taking pictures of the clouds. Clouds alone are so majestic, and God presented himself as a cloud, to guide the Israelites, by day and by night.

God most certainly knows and some may know about themselves and about a few others based on God's revelation. That does not change what I know. As to what I believe... is that only meaningful if I am on the Lord's side?

Nothing Can Separate Us from God’s Love

31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? 32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? 33 Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. 34 Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.

35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 36 (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”[o]) 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[p] neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
It's most certainly a choice my friend! Seek the Kingdom of God, diligently seek after God, and he will reward accordingly, all in faith which pleases him; with doing what is good in love for God and others. Amen!

Bible scholars are leaving Christianity in droves. Why?
Not because they don't understand the Bible, obviously. (they're Bible scholars)

- Do you have to be Christian to believe in God?
- Do you have to agree with the institutional church's positions to believe in God?

Previous topic on this subject.

The falling away - they most likely were never truly Born-Again by the Spirit to begin with.

Unless you are truly SAVED under the Blood AND Baptized in the Holy Spirit, you will never understand the Holy Scriptures in the Way, the Truth and the Life.

This is how unurtured christianity has become = they do not even know who the Bride of Christ is, they think it's Israel of the flesh.

Read Gospel of John and 1 John

You've watched the videos, so list the excuses they give for not believing.
Agreed. He needs to work on his thesis statement. His OP's read like a proto-thought, not quite fully developed. Old people like me are like that; "I want to tell you something important. It has to do with .... where was I going with that?"

SPOT ON RIGHT MY FRIEND .
I dont know if you seen what i wrote yesterday . but i seen a very sad and troubling statistic .
Out of all the religoins in the world the number one religion that feared death was christains .
NOW HOW SAD IS THAT . And if one is a christain , then how come their TRUST AINT IN JESUS CHRIST ALONE .
I mean HOW on earth is anyone who is saved even saved . A hint . JESUS DID IT ALL my friend . HE ALONE
We who BELIEVE IN HIM , HAVE ETERNAL LIFE . IF one knows not where they are gonna end up in the next life ,
THEN I say THEY ARE TRUSTING IN THE WRONG ONE . aka IN THEMSELVES . TIME TO TRUST IN JESUS CHRIST .
And john said it real good . SO THAT YE MAY KNOW , not guess , not worry , KNOW that ye have ETERNAL LIFE .
Actually KNOW YOU HAVE IT . THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST .
And that is our mission . TO REMIND all that YE MUST BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST . nutting else gonna save them .

One can have ALL the credentials the world has to offer, in any field of study, and also can be proficient in quoting from Genesis1:1 to the last amen in Revelations , this does not make ANY righteous.

Only those who have been born from above by the Spirit of God are saved. This comes only by a contrite heart and a broken spirit, calling out to God; O' Lord wretched man that I am, save me, a sinner !

Many people today are so selfish and puffed-up with their own importance to even recognize the God of all creation, even in so called Christendom !

I see this common view as problematic. The testimonies of these scholars and others who are leaving the faith
indicate that they truly WERE "Born-Again by the Spirit to begin with.' (to use your description)
I think our knee-jerk reaction is WRONG in many cases.

If a righteous person leaves the church, are they STILL righteous?

'the spirit' trip is problematic. The great emphasis on spirit and born again is for one, too opaque and and two, self focused.
The Spirit never focuses on itself, it is a witness to Jesus whom he points to. The constant talk of 'the spirit, the spirit' is not the spirit of Jesus. No wonder many who labour 'the spirit, the spirit' drop out.

Being born again is the description, the fruit of which manifests in values aligned with God's character. Born again is not a formula which one prattles on about as if one is saying something about anything, it's become part of the religious bag of jargon. When one is born again it manifests in ones reality; what and who one witnesses to.

My experience is that those who are constantly on about the spirit and born again do not know the resurrected Jesus. Another Jesus has them online.......I would guess a counterfeit one.
