Do you mind telling what State? I grew up in Pennsylvania but spent most of my life here in Los Angeles.

The police just rolled up next to my place. They got two homeless people they're talking to. Not sure what's going on but it is exciting. I was just out on my walk and came back to them pulling up to talk to the people.
Did you see what happened to them?

Beautiful countryside. We vacationed a few times at the Youghiogheny Dam area near the Maryland border. My dad drove us briefly to Deep Creek Lake, MD.
When I was in the military my partner and I drove to Maryland to see his family. It is really beautiful country there.

Yes, Pennsylvania is the same type of countryside.....I loved growing up there. Loved the nice yards, flowers, trees, and a little bit out of the city are lovely woods. Miss the rain storms, too.

Well it's 7pm on the west coast which means it's 10pm on the east coast. It's probably time to log off but I'm a die hard so I'll probably scan the funnies thread.

Vacation ends Monday. I wouldn't even begin to try physics. Kudos to you my friend!
Physics is something learned. I've had to study it for 8 years to become somewhat OK at it. I think most anyone can learn it if they want to spend time learning it. Like computer programming. Math. They're very similar but different.

Well I hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation.

Good morning @Pathfinder7. High of 76 today. Pacific Northwest. We've been keeping cool this year which is good. I got some PowerADE just in case it gets hot.

Just getting my coffee and getting ready for shopping today. Cheers!

I remember..learning about the 'nuclear fusion'..
- in physics course/class..
- many years ago.
Yes I studied fusion and fission. Interesting stuff, but both involve radioactive materials which is undesirable. I'm hoping for a better way that is non-destructive. Something clean.

Our power went out this morning. Trying to do stuff in the dark was difficult. But it's light out now and the power is back on.

I haft to admit that this has been one of the nicer Christian forums that I've been a member of, however there are ways that people are around here that still gets me upset from time to time. Up until recently I haven't been upset with the moderators. But due to recent events, I'm starting to feel a bit upset with them too, for moving my prayer requests into discussion threads. When I get upset my blood pressure goes up. I already take medication for high blood pressure. If I can't figure out a nice balance with this, I just might delete my account for the sake of my health. The reason why this angers me so badly is because I feel disrespected. It was never my intention to turn my prayer requests into a discussion. But it appears that around here majority rules. I disagree with this point of view. A prayer request should remain a prayer request, and any discussing should of been squashed instead.
@Nancy? Check this post, apparently it was moved not at the request of the poster.

Well you should do what's good for your mental health. Will miss you!
