How are we to reckon ourselves as being dead to sin?

Being dead to sin goes beyond just not doing as the world does. According to the Lord, the religious person can become more sinful even than the world based on pride, judgmentalism, and taking on a mocking spirit. We can take on a false covering. We all have an inner man...and some of us even have been regenerated in the Spirit. But evangelicalism, and the doctrines associated with it, can make it very easy to become puffed up in the outer man. When the outer man gets edified along with the inner man...the result is worse than before.

Whatever is mixed with truth becomes that at the expense of the truth. We can only defend the truth by practicing the truth. There is no mixture permissible in holiness.

Whatever is mixed with the outer man, as pure as that might be, only puffs him up the more. That's why the power of the cross is essential for growth in Christ.

Dear epi if one is not dead to a lie , then they are not dead to SIN . THE LIE is coaxing folks into believing
there is no need to BELIEVE on CHRIST whom GOD did send .
THe lie of unbelief is the lie of the social all inclusive go spell . Yes jim i did it again , GO SPELL ,

Epi can justify me wiht his blood
Epi can not reconcile me to God
Epi can give me eternal life
Epi can not give me every spiritual blessing that is in heaven,
Epi can not save me,
Epi can not prepair a place for me in heaven.

I can go on and on and on

And I can not do these things for you or Epi either

Since there is no more veil upon hearts. No more blindness “whom the god of this world has blinded” then ….don’t you think there would be more fruit of the Spirit of God?


God is not the author of confusion?

Those who belong to Christ ARE bearing fruit, everyone according to our measure of grace and faith, as long as we are being obedient and following Him. And He is working to prune our fruitful branches so that they become even more fruitful. As well as pruning away the unfruitful branches.

And don't forget there is an enemy who is still very much opposing what God would do, so there is that to consider as well. We weren't promised a utopia in this life, but a war. Being engaged in the war and battling the enemy of our God is kind of fruit in itself too, I would think.

To the first old man his dear wife , family and friends told him alas
a great a wonderful eternity awaits you . For you have done many great works
you gave to the poor , you built hospitals for the sick , you spent your time upon this earth
doing good . To which the first old man said , Alas yes i did , i was not like
those wicked things , i did much good .
The second old man too was surrounded by friends and by family .
And they told him you did so much good , you gave to the poor ,
a great eternity awaits you .
To which the old man said , OH LORD GOD simply remember THE MERCY you gave me In CHRIST
for the only goodness i had came from you .

This is the part that worries me

Jesus said you can know where you will be

as 4 guys in the fire. That was a human fire. And the three were saved by incarnate Jesus who walked with them.

What is Hell? I do not know. All I know is it is called the second death, It is prepaired for satan and his angels. it is not heaven.

The people who will be in heaven are those who are not condemned, Because they believed, and the cross was applied to them, they were crucified with Christ, they were justified, They were redeemed, They were born again, They were reconciled to God. They were baptized into Christ. They were adopted into the family of God. They were given every spiritual blessing under heaven, That have access to God because the veil, or barrier between God and man (sin) was taken away.

I can go on and on and on in what God has promised those who come to the cross.

it is what our hope is in, and that hope is what our faith is based on.. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. The evidence of things not seen.

all the experiences here on earth. All the good deed we may or may not do. All the things we see have no bearing on our eternity.

If our eternity is not set in stone. What happens here on earth does Not matter.

There is the righteousness which comes from Christ on his children,

and there is the self righteousness which comes from self (the flesh) from those who reject his gift of salvation and hence remain children of Satan.

The passages I have been showing you, about being justified by faith. That is the gift that will never stop giving, when you stand in front of God. That justification deems you as acquitted, Not guilty, because the price you owe God was paid for by Christ on the cross.

That is the greatest gift anyone can ever give. And God gave it to me and he will give it to anyone who asks. All we have to do is believe.. Stop trusting in self. And start to trust God and all he promises..

with many friends , much family surrounding her
the news as well .
The anchor told her , Ye have done well in this life . You gave much to the poor
ye loved much and told all that every path was fine
The untold millions you gave , billions you gave over your life to the poor
will be remembered .
TO which the lady said , Yes i did . I had hopsitals and orphanges opened
I gave much to the less fortunate . And though i was a christain
i always loved and told others YE dont have to believe , just do good , lets be all inclusive for the LOVE of
GOD is very broad and the way to him is through this inclusive love .
Another lady lay dying , surrounded by only a few .
And when compared to the other rich lady she could not compete with her works . For she was poor in this life .
YET her faith IN JESUS was strong .
Both died . The well loved rich lady was in torments of hells fire
Yet the poor lady whose faith was in CHRIST alone was now comforted and in the midst of all lambs and OF GOD .
The rich lady said , ALAS i gave far more than that wretched fundamental thing did .
TO which she was told , YEAH , BUT THAT fundamental JESUS CHRIST ONLY lady , DID WHAT WAS REQUIRED
to enter into everlasting life , WHEREAS YOU taught others they didnt need to do such a thing .

If I hate my brother, I walk in darkness still and reject going to heaven, in fact turning from it. Regardless of my saying it is hidden in me. What sins did God pardon on the cross?

while if I hate my brother your correct. I am not showing the love of God.. I will not go to heaven or be justified because I do not hate my brother

I will say however. A child of God can not hate his brother forever.. He will be disciplined. and as a child who has been disciplined by God.. you do not resist it for long..

but your right, it is not a get out of free cars so we can sin whenever we want.. People who think this have yet to repent in my view..
