We see a LOT of flesh being molly-coddled in the modern church based on a false idea of "fellowship". Sure the flesh can get along when it is directed...entertained... catered to. But take away the entertainment..the distractions... the abundance...and you will see the true nature of people come out.If those who Christ is speaking to through Paul there. Choose good and not evil. If their is an exchange of their choosing the living water of Life for their thirst, the bread of heaven to satisfy their hunger, and the new man to put on as clothing…then there will be fellowship with one another. When what prevents and withholds that fellowship between brothers is put off, cast away, removed from their midst.
A counselor once said “somebody has to step off the crazy wheel.” There has to be Light before it can shine in to darkness. Or it is just around and around in darkness.Christ speaking in Paul is that Light towards them.
Why didn't Jesus try getting along with the Sanhedrin???
Who begins judging? Was Jesus the first to judge? Or was it the religious Pharisees who were looking for false prophets...and whoever didn't puff up their flesh?
