There is no Biblical " high " calling. There is one calling- to be conformed to the image of Christ period. There is no lower, middle or higher calling. We are all called to obedience to Christ and to take every thought captive to that obedience. Sanctification is synergistic and both God and man are responsible for that process. We obey and God sanctifies us holy in the Beloved. Its a 2 way street available to all believers through the same Holy Spirit who dwells in each and every believer.

Hey jim . how long is it going to take you to realize this approach you seem to have has not worked for the churches .
They keep on having unity with false prophets and thus they just keep falling away worse and worse .
REMEMBER the body of CHRIST will point to CHRIST . and yes men can err at times . but like peter , THEY WOULD REPENT OF ERROR
quite quicky if they did . EVEN simeon repented . Notice he didnt tell peter he was some great prophet of GOD

That's what I said...walk IN Him. You are not doing that as much as you might claim to be. How do you walk IN Him? That's just a religious formula to you. If I say...walk in Chicago... (I use an American city because I don't think that many know of any other cities) can I walk in say...Philly...and say I am walking in Chicago? Don't I have to go TO Chicago to walk IN Chicago. Now I realize the logic may be too much to handle at this point...but try to follow.

Whoever believes INTO (eis) Christ HAS eternal life. Jesus said ABIDE in Me....where I am you will also be.

So you would have to move beyond a middle class understanding to get what Jesus is talking about. The carnally minded do NOT receive the things of the Spirit.
