I don't understand that that is.the baptism of the down payment of the Holy Spirit.
In Romans 6, God teaches us about being baptised into Christ. Is this something that you think has been done with you? Are you baptized into Christ?
Much love!

I don't understand that that is.the baptism of the down payment of the Holy Spirit.
I think the real question is why you don’t believe: you are yet carnal.Romans 6:3-7 KJV
3) Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4) Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5) For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6) Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7) For he that is dead is freed from sin.
The real question here is, have you been baptized into Jesus Christ? Do you think this is something you can know?
Much love!
I know a very good reason to not go looking, it's not there. Just more false words to muddy the waters.Yeah, that’s not the direction I’m going.
Uh huh. Right.I know a very good reason to not go looking, it's not there. Just more false words to muddy the waters.
Much love!
I hope this is making an impression on you, that there is this very significant passage of Scripture specifically addressing these things that you will not engage with.I think the real question is why you don’t believe: you are yet carnal.![]()
When Paul wrote those words, but you are yet carnal, it was concerning those who were trying to divide the church, pitting one against another, much like Epi was on another thread recently, advertising for those who would join him against Behold, split us into factions.I think the real question is why you don’t believe: you are yet carnal.![]()
He spoke “in human terms because of the weakness of their flesh”, those who he was speaking to in the chapter you are referencing.I hope this is making an impression on you, that there is this very significant passage of Scripture specifically addressing these things that you will not engage with.
Much love!
I’ve answered your question dozens upon dozens of times over the years. He is in me, I have not yet been in Him in walking in the Spirit. I am led by Him.When Paul wrote those words, but you are yet carnal, it was concerning those who were trying to divide the church, pitting one against another, much like Epi was on another thread recently, advertising for those who would join him against Behold, split us into factions.
I can find that for you if you didn't see it.
But how does this address whether or not you are baptized - immersed - into Jesus Christ?
You cannot seem to answer my question to you, and seem to be pushing against it as hard as you can. It's truth that sets you free.
Much love!
Oh blah blah blah. Ridiculous. When Paul wrote those words, but you are yet carnal, it was concerning those who were trying to divide the church, pitting one against another, much like Epi was on another thread recently, advertising for those who would join him against Behold, split us into factions.
Very much in agreement...folks should get out their Bibles and go to Romans 6 and really digest it for their lives as they live in faith for Christ and his works and the Spirit will continue to encourage us to keep denying ourselves and its sins in the flesh, to death (we have been baptized in faith and spirit into him with his death and resurrection from the Cross) ,and we live as the Son of God, as his spirit today and tomorrow. We are exercising and maturing our righteousness because of Christ and the Spirit of God, today. What Paul taught generally in Romans 6 he applied to himself in Galatians 2. There's no mystery in this. It's true for all who are baptized into Christ.
I find Romans 6 being largely ignored here. And by all appearance, simply not believed by some.
Much love!
I am dumbfounded about those who try to earn salvation.
people want to give God their bloody filthy rags as payment for sin
And its so sad that scripture has been twisted and supplemented to serve a personal idea not aligned in scripture, an elitist idea of being an extra special believer who apparently is the only one of a few that has not reached the Cross yet, and is still struggling to get to it, having secret knowledge of an extra grace requirement of a unique salvation that only a few find and can walk in spirit. Its because of Episkopos...... as that one told the members here, ....and including Stunnedbygrace... that The Cross of Christ, is "whipping boy" nonsense.
Could the Devil Himself have said it any better?
So, you can imagine what a Thread that is given to try to explain "born again" is going to turn out to be, when the writer is the person who LITERALLY said that The Cross of Jesus, is "whipping boy", nonsense.
Let me show you this Thread and his next one, and Video.
It will be this....= "" there is confusion and every evil work, because... this Thread is.... """"not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish."""
= "whipping boy" nonsense Threads.
You're on one reader., and see the result?
CHAOS, confusion, deception, "DEVILISH"., as "spiritual and theological confusion is of the DEVIL."
Just ask the OP.
Anything someone says on a public forum is open to comment. The man poured out and shared his hurting heart with an entire forum. How I respond to that is my business. I don’t care if he was or wasn’t Catholic. It’s good though that you feel remorse for it.
Talk about a screaming sheep. Sounds like you need to take a break. You’re not flibbertygoopit me! I’m insignificant and humble and often speak in four different languages in one sentence! I’m so humble and full of the spirit and you are void of the Spirit! Quit metzacheking me you mocker! Can’t you see how holy and full of myself I am??! Sell all you have and buy a super secret decoder ring so you can decode my holier than thou post!

Amen, plain scripture, but unfortunately there are those who are simply blind and deaf to plain scripture. It's plain Scripture.
Romans 4:1-5 KJV
1) What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?
2) For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
3) For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
4) Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
5) But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
Not by any works of righteousness, but his faith is counted for righteousness.

Let's keep things in their contexts. He spoke “in human terms because of the weakness of their flesh”, those who he was speaking to in the chapter you are referencing.
Though you are perfectly willing to both assume this above, and announce your conclusions of me to all.Im not like you. I don’t assume all the pleasant sounding things are me and all the hard or bitter things are not me.
I'm pretty certain you aren't building an ark getting ready for lots of rain, and I'm pretty confident you understand that some parts of the Bible were addressed to some and not others. If I had a nickel for every time I heard you say, that verse doesn’t apply to me but only to Israel or to unbelievers, I’d buy a house.
I also don’t fully understand all things that Paul said yet. (I don’t think you do either, despite your claims.)
How is it that you are dead to the law? How did that happen?I do know I’ve died to the law, as he speaks about later, and that the law of sin and death has no power over me any more and that I will never die.
Ps. 106:30 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.Amen, plain scripture, but unfortunately there are those who are simply blind and deaf to plain scripture.
