When I was sick Mom used to make us homemade chicken noodle soup, she made the noodles from scratch, it was so good and smelled awesome too. Miss those days.

Nobody makes it like mum.

We've been having cold weather here for a while now. Chilli mornings. Currently it's 34F.

In the span of four days, we're going from 80F and sunny to a hurricane and tornadoes to sub-freezing temperatures. Welcome to autumn in North Carolina.

No worries, mate. Nothing worse than a potted aloe plant that blew over. But I was a bit startled when the tornado warning went off. Everybody's cellphones started going "BEEEP, BEEEEP!"

We recently had a forest fire near here and they accidentally sent us an evacuation notice. I was like "what the heck", so I went outside and it was all smokey with ash falling all over. Later they sent another message saying it was an accident.
