Well hopefully she'll be OK. It's good she has church to help her. I would be concerned also about the lack of strength and balance.Thank you for asking. The "complication" turned out to be a garden-variety UTI, easily handled by antibiotics. But peeing red scared her. I'm still concerned that her sense of balance is off and she has to walk with a cane now. I try to always walk right beside her in case she stumbles. And her diabetic neuropathy has gotten worse; she's had to get special tools for ordinary tasks like opening jars because she doesn't have any grip strength or dexterity in her hands. Several members of our church volunteer to help her with transportation and the like, so maybe we're doing something Jesus would approve of.
You're probably right, But actually I had brain fog then boredom then I was hyper and then I just physically dropped to the bed. I think I might have had a manic episode. But I'm not sure.@devin553344
A friendly reminder...
Is not boredom a form of fear about things not going 'our' way.
Is it not that part of a person which fears inattention the 'old self', that Christians need to lose, or not pay attention to.
Could be we're all chock full of nuts... LOL
God Bless
Hugs

I have to confess that I don't have the learning mindset anymore. That's another thing I lost somewhere along the road.
It doesn't help that I sense some troublesome spirits behind most of the exchanges here.
I hate the political and current events stuff 'cause I can't fact-check as fast as people can make up nonsense, so I can't participate without risking false witness.
And even fact-checking isn't reliable. It seems like I have the world on my screen and at my fingertips, but really I'm still just a guy sitting in my house in rural central Pennsylvania.
Thanks Wynona. Good advice. I don't really get online that much and I have health problems that get in my way now so I can't really participate in church yet. I used to about 10 years ago.Hey devin553344!
My opinion is that forums and social media in general are a big disappointment when you rely on them too much for a sense of connection.
Think about it, aside from the really controlling people, folks only share a snippet of themselves that they are willing for the online world to see.
We weren't meant to interact that way. So nowadays I try to make forums and social media only a fraction of what I do to feel connected.
I recommend volunteering, phone calls, written cards and letters for real connection and journaling to pass time when everybody's too busy.
Generally, staying online too much always makes me get that feeling like Ive fallen through the cracks.

Well said Wynona...it's a 'Question of Balance' as the Moody Blues would agree...Hey devin553344!

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." Gal 6:9This site is getting boring, I'm outa here.
Well, doing something."And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." Gal 6:9
What is well doing on this forum? Ask God about that and go on ahead always toward Him!
Lol! Without commentaries! What you could do is study a difficult verse or passage in-depth and then post what you have learned (without consulting any commentaries). That would not be boring in the least.
I had to -like- this because I can relate to it.Thanks Wynona. Good advice. I don't really get online that much and I have health problems that get in my way now so I can't really participate in church yet. I used to about 10 years ago.
It happens sometimes. We always have this forum and I have online church to keep me interested and in touch. :) I also have family that I interact with so I'm not too disconnected.I had to -liked- this because I can relate to it.
:)
Romans 8 tells us it is by the Holy Spirit that we cry Abba, Father.... Similarly, Galatians 4.6.Lol! Without commentaries!
No dictionaries, lexicons?
please explain what is the witness?
Rom_8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
How does He do it?
Blessings

Some are sooo...spiritual, sitting on a cloud,no earthly good.
Time spent alone with the Lord is usually the only place where I learn anything regarding truth from scripture, although I will occasionally pick up something in the midst of researching an issue I'm discussing. What you actually learn on the forums is how to debate what you have learned, and defend it.
And yes, there are some bad spirits behind a lot of what goes on on the forums. I sometimes readily admit I have given myself to one. That's all part of spiritual growth. Trust me, the Christian forums these days are not for the faint of heart. They take a certain metal, and a determination to keep getting up. It can bear good fruit over time, but it's a bit like subjecting yourself to torture in order to become accustomed to what of necessary you will have to endure.
