I understand abuse as a child and that some have suffered it. I also understand the narcissistic , egotistical body building buff boys who do so to seek attraction from other males.......not women.

What I do not understand is the desperate need to be loved by a man if you are a man !

I know women have suffered abuse from the hands of fathers, boyfriends, brothers and husbands but again I cannot understand the desire to have relations with another woman.

I have zero, nada, zip nothing for buildings they label " churches". I'm waiting for ALL THE TRUE BELIEVERS to come out of these denoms and organizations then we can have some real TRUTH preached with hell- fire and brim- stone.

The Bible says to love our neighbor. Part of the story is Luke 10:29, "But the expert, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” " That message is quite clear to me. If you can't love all your neighbors, including LGBTQs, then your not really a Christian.

When I first began church as a teen, I had a cousin and his wife who would go to the building he sat with his teenaged mistress who was the deacons daughter while his wife sat on another pew and the church accepted this. It turned my stomach.

Regardless we have to look at the soul which will live for eternity as opposed to its sin to win ppl.
What is not preached frequently enough is the fact that to be born again means a new you; new mind, new heart,and new way of life above outright sin.

Out of curiosity has anyone in here read any books by LGBT scholars and theologians , or affirming and accepting theologians and scholars, and did a in-depth study into why they believe that they believe based off of the Bible? Regardless of what stance you take on a subject, it’s important to often study out the arguments by the opposing side.
Another thing to consider, if homosexuality is indeed a sin, and I’m not saying either or, it’s no different than the sins we all commit daily and have done so for years and decades since our teenage years and yet we still presume we are in the clear. We often have a , well I sin in a less offensive way and I feel bad after doing it” mentality.
