Christians and Jews are both anti Acts 2:38.

The sinner must first obey Acts 2:38 to be qualified to be Christ's church.

The rest are fake organization of renegade wannabe Christians.

I don't care if they don't believe fat meat is greasy, as long as they are obeying Acts 2:38.
You are very condemning and hold comtempt against Christians who hold differents views.
Are you a Catholic? That would explain the gulf between us. I ha e differences with Catholics but do not condemn them. I consider them part of the Body of Christ - at least half of it.

Was Peter what you just described me as at Pentecost when he commanded the 3000 murderers of Jesus to obey him per this?...

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Was he a bully or a jerk?

Or, was he being a nice guy?

Friend there is a false gospel of belief only as you know, John 3:16.

Jesus' gospel is more than just faith.

This idea of something only by itself saves and excluding all the other commandments.

Causes you to be guilty of the same mistake the faith only folks are making.

There is a false gospel of water only salvation.
If we do not obey the whole gospel of jesus, we are not obeying the gospel Jesus laid out for us to follow.

Acts 2:38 is essential to salvation. IT MUST BE OBEYED!
But faith,
Confession Romans 10:9-10
Repentance, Acts 2:38

Is just as essential as immersion for salvation.

Jesus has a church.
Only those who obey the true gospel will be added to His church by God, Acts 2:47.

Those not in His church are not saved,
Ephesians 5:23.

Why should we worry about other doctrines after Acts 2:38 if we can't even get Acts 2:38 right?

"Depart from me, I NEVER knew you" applies here.

Well yes, I agree with that.

So, if we cannot convince folks to accept the first gospel sermon by Peter, Acts 2:38.
Then there is no hope that they will be saved.

But also they must know there is more to Peter's gospel than what is told by the scriptures in Acts 2:38.

There is not one verse in the new testament that teaches every requirement by Jesus to be saved.

John 3:16 is not the whole gospel
Acts 2:38 is not all the requirements to be saved.

You have to study all the conversions in Acts to see the whole picture on what Jesus' gospel includes in being saved.

Even Jesus did not teach everything one must do to be saved in one or two verses, Mark 16:15-16 for example.

Jesus did not mention repentance in Mark 16:16. But He did by the mouth of Peter in Acts 2:38.

Here is every requirement/command to be saved in Jesus' gospel.
After a person is saved. There is more commandments for Christians to obey. But not to be saved.

Believe Acts 2:37 ; Mark 16:16

Repent of sins Acts 2:38

Confession of faith in Christ, Acts 8:37 ; Romans 10:9-10 ; Matthew 10:32-33

Water immersion for forgiveness of sins, Acts 2:38 ; Acts 22:16 ; Mark 16:16

All these commandments are of the same importance in Jesus' gospel unto salvation.

If one of these commandments is not obeyed
Then the person has not obeyed the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

I can make a false gospel out of water baptism just as I can out of faith alone.

Water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins is the great commission obeyed as documented in the book of Acts.

This is the foundation of our faith.

There is no other foundation but Acts 2:38.

All a person needs to do is obey Acts 2:38 and walk in/be led by the Spirit.

Friend, Then why di Jesus say this Matthew 10:32-33?
Then Phillip preached it to the Eunch BEFORE he baptized him. Acts 8:37
Do you think the Eunch could have been saved without obeying Phillip, Acts 8:37?
Phillip was preaching the whole gospel to the Eunch. That is why he taught him to confess his faith in Christ, Matthew 10:32-33

The Eunuch was required to believe before he could be baptized.

They were following Mark 16:16 verbatim....

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

....we demand folks to believe before we will baptize them in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins today, also.

Nothing fishy here.

All he was saying is "brag on me and I will brag on you".

This has nothing to do with remission of sins.
Romans 10:9-10
That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED.

10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION.

You are making the same error as the faith only crowd does with Mark 16:16.
They teach you believe but are not baptized to be saved.

You have made the same error with Confession of faith in Christ.

You say to Romans 10:9-10
If you do NOT confess with your mouth the lord Jesus and believe in heart....you will be saved.

Faith alone: believe and not baptism for salvation, Mark 16:16

You: Confess not but believe with the heart...will be saved Romans 10:9-10

The gospel of Christ is not to be divided up into what you want to believe.
All of it must be believed and obeyed to be saved.

Romans 10 was written to reaffirm the faith of the saints that had obeyed Acts 2:38 previously.

I have to confess and believe daily to REMAIN saved.

The day I cease to confess and believe, I deny the faith and am not ready to meet God(saved).

Right?

Now, do you know what an "Epistle" is?

Friend
, that cannot be true,

The conversion of the Ethiopian Eunch will not allow confession to be for the already saved Christian.
Acts 8:35-38
Then Phillip opened His mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him.
Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunch said, See here is water what hinders me from being baptized?
Then Philip said, If you believe with all your heart you may, And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Phillip and the eunch went down into the water and he baptized him,

Now, confession precedes baptism.
That proves confession is in order to be saved!

Romans 10:9-10
And with the mouth confession is made ....unto salvation

So, you only confessed and believed in Jesus and his resurrection one time in your life and no more?

Question: what happens if you go through a trial and cease to believe anymore, then deny Jesus' resurrection?

Will you remain saved no matter what?

Also, an Epistle, such as the book of Romans was a letter written to previously saved saints, not sinners.

The gospels were written to sinners.

Acts was written to show sinners what to do to become saints (Acts 2:38).

Then the Epistles,(Rom-Rev) were written to the saved saints.

I bet you did not even realize the books of your NT were placed in this specific order for mankind to read it that specific way?

In other words, it is scripturally illegal to read the 4 gospels to sinners, skip Acts, then give them the saints' letter of Romans.

This is called mail theft.

Yes, Romans is not the book for salvation but written to the saved!

That is why I did not do what you falsely accuse me of!

I took you straight to Acts 8 and the CONVERSION of the Ethiopian Eunch that was being SAVED!

Acts does teach confession with the mouth unto salvation just as Paul taught christians in Romans

Did you miss Acts 8: 37-38?

And No I do not believe in once saved always saved.
Judt as I do not believe that you go around publicly confessing over and over out loud,
I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, to stay saved

There are ways of interpreting the Bible to show that it doesn't necessarily support Calvinism...for instance, when God He "hated" Esau, we can compare that to when Jesus said we can't be His disciples unless we "hate" our parents -- which obviously means "love less", not despise with contempt, right or wrong?

God was saying He "loved less" Esau because he only cared about making himself happy, while Jacob highly esteemed the "priestly" birthright responsibility and also the holy Messianic lineage of which the firstborn was to partake.
Thanks, Phoneman. I'm not arguing with what you say; I pretty much agree, except I'd actually say "loved differently," rather than "loved less." God loves his elect in a sovereign, distinguishing way, but this is not necessarily to say that He loves His elect "more." But again, thank you.

Grace and peace to you.

You will never be saved if you wait for an emotional experience.

God is waiting on you Lifelong sinner
Stop waiting on Him.

wait…… so let me get this straight… so lets say i’m not saved, and i do bad stuff everyday, you’re telling me that if i ask for forgiveness, tell God that i believe in Him and His atonement, get baptized, take communion, goto church, and continue on in life that i’ll be saved?? Tell me thats not what you believe…
