Yes, by grace through faith.
Evidently, He forces us to keep it once it is given. So did God Forced you to take His gift of Salvation?
I agree it's God's power.
But, if you don't rely on God's power but your own work to keep you saved you will fall.
Evidently, He forces us to keep it once it is given.
This is what is called "a distinction without a difference." It is a logical fallacy. If a gift is given that cannot be returned, the recipient is forced to heep it. Conversion does not cause the will to be surrendered permanently. No He does not force us to Keep our Salvation.
He keeps His Word that He Keeps our Salvation FOR us.
He neither forced us to take Salvation.
He neither forces us to keep Salvation.
He teaches His Gift of Salvation IS forever....BE SURE YOU WANT IT, Before you agree to receive it.
Men make agreement between themselves....Men lie, agree by their word, then break their word, such a problem, men made laws, you must agree by your SIGNATURE. Men still try to break their word, their contract, their vow, and too bad. Their signature proves they fully agreed, so by law you have to complete what you agreed with.
God does not require a “signature”. He requires a mans true word. If the man lies to God......the offering of Salvation becomes VOID....he has already forfeited receiving Salvation....no further worries. The man remains unsaved.
The man has guaranteed his sentence of damnation.
So now no one is saved until they die?
I am currently at this moment saved. It doesn't start at death, that's just a door into a different sort of existence.
I was saved because of Gods mercyYou keep making it about what God has.
Do you not know, A MAN IS SAVED BY WHAT A MAN DOES?
A man CALLS OUT TO THE LORD.
A man HEARTFULLY CONFESSES BELIEF. JESUS IS THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD
A man REPENTS of HIS SIN.
A man LAYS DOWN HIS LIFE FOR THE LORD...
A MANS ACT....Has NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT GOD HAS.
WITHOUT a MANS ACT....Gods mercy, gift of Salvation, gift of Eternal Life, promise to be forever with men, on and on.....DOES NOT APPLY to a man...
WHO DOES NOT FIRST “ACT”.
Not when they left. Many false teachers were once genuine believers.
that is not correct. It is not limited atonement unless God only paid for the sins of those who he chose. that's not correct.Yes. Otherwise you have limited atonement...a Calvinism falsehood.
lol.Not lost, thrown away. Big difference. You can not lose it like your car keys. You can toss it in the trash deliberately.
alot of baptists believe in NOSAS like youYou mean the Catholics? The baptist's are pretty large.
the belief in that passage is not a wishy washy, I believe in jesus belief.Seriously? You cannot truly believe and not receive salvation. It's impossible.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.
lolNonsense. It's a gift that must be accepted. And any gift can be given back unless you believe in the Calvinists nonsense.
Israel proves you wrong. The TRUTH IS....A SAVED PERSON CANNOT BECOME UNSAVED.
The TRUTH IS....A SAVED PERSON IS NOT KEEPING HIMSELF SAVED.
The TRUTH IS....The Power of God “IN” the person Keeps the Person SAVED.
I have no FEAR of the TRUTH.
Your words are NOT TRUTH.
Wait till Jesus says, "I never knew you."No. You do not speak for me.
I don’t know a single person that WAS SAVED and now IS NOT SAVED.
^ That would make God a LIAR.
That is how you came to be in a cult. You have no spiritual discernment. The warnings against deserting God are numerous. Why are the warnings there? They are there because it happens.Nope, Bad advice.
My words...
Spiritual things do not make sense to Unsaved persons.
Scriptures words...
1 Cor 2:
[14] But the natural man (unsaved person) receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, (doesn’t make sense) because they are spiritually discerned
Christ laid down His life, that He might take it up again. This is the way--He is the Way. That is the correct model, and the one we are to follow. Anything else is religion and the teachings of men.I was taught this throughout my entire childhood. It's what I like I like to call "righteousness by human sincerity" which is not at all like righteousness by faith and certainly provides no assurance of salvation.
Eternal security is largely a counterbalance to another false doctrine called eternal torment. Both are contrary to the very character of God. It is best to start from "God is love" when determining the validity of a Bible doctrine. :)
