hopefully we all do..No, I'm not sinless my human nature does not allow for it, but I trust in the blood of the Lamb to wash me whiter than snow.

If we all put our trust in Jesus, we might all be one with him, like it should be.hopefully we all do..
yep..If we all put our trust in Jesus, we might all be one with him, like it should be.
Except like all families, we tend to fall out. :)yep..
Those of us adopted into his family are one with him.
nah,Except like all families, we tend to fall out. :)
Don't you think we ought to look to Jesus for our instruction rather than people, sometimes living hundreds of years later?
Yes, the sheep; those who are not workers of iniquity(sin) unlike the goats. The sheep are directed to His right and into everlasting salvation while the goats(those who sinned regularly - believing they were safe) are very shocked to be directed to His left into hellfire and eternal damnation.Your right, in that day many will say lord lord.
The osas person will be on his face unable to look up.
The legalistic person will profess all his works..and how he is not like the sinner.
remember who jesus said would go home justified
well as John saidYes, the sheep; those who are not workers of iniquity(sin) unlike the goats. The sheep are directed to His right and into everlasting salvation while the goats(those who sinned regularly - believing they were safe) are very shocked to be directed to His left into hellfire and eternal damnation.
And satisfyingly so; it makes no sense that God would punish those who strived to please Him while welcoming the filthy sinners, who rested on God's laurels, into the holiest heaven to live along side God and all the holy angels.
My favourite text, "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV)nah,
we can't fall out. because we could not climb in. if we can actually fall out. we had to climb in, You can;t have it both ways.
Grace is all of God. Not of works..lest anyone should boast.
Should we not depend on God and stop trying to depend on self?
YepMy favourite text, "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV)
Major theme:-
Psa_4:5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
Psa_37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
Psa_40:3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
Psa_73:28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
Psa_115:10 O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
Psa_115:11 Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
Psa_118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
Psa_118:9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
Psa_125:1 A Song of degrees. They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
Pro_28:25 He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.
Pro_29:25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
.
Deal.well as John said
those born of God can not sin, whoever sins has NEVER SEEN or KNOWN GOD.
So I agree. many think they are saved and are not.
in the same token, many think they are saved because of their works. and are not either.
Lets make sure we are not in one of these groups
The red one you idiot.Yep
so who trusts the lord completely?
Those who believe in Gods promise of eternal life to all who will receive his grace gift.
or those who are trying to maintain their salvation by their own power and not fall away?
lol. If you are this way, You have not understood the word. nor that fact you have been saved, and have been given eternal life.Deal.
Then there are those who know they are not saved until it is all said and done. Knowing it is something you work toward.
Like Paul:
"If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus"
Philippians 3:11-14
the red one are osas believers, But unlike you, I will not call you an idiot. The red one you idiot.
Doesn't everyone believe our glorious and gracious God, is the giver of eternal life?the red one are osas believers, But unlike you, I will not call you an idiot.
I'd say Paul was holier and more accomplished than either of us, especially after visiting with Jesus in person on the road to Damascus. Yet, like him, "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." because what I understand is that we are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling for reverence of God and anticipation of the possibility of hell. For those in Christ will be judged first.lol. If you are this way, You have not understood the word. nor that fact you have been saved, and have been given eternal life.
Everyone I know says they do.Doesn't everyone believe our glorious and gracious God, is the giver of eternal life?
Nobody with any sense is doing this:
trying to maintain their salvation by their own power and not fall away?
Well see thats just itI'd say Paul was holier and more accomplished than either of us, especially after visiting with Jesus in person on the road to Damascus. Yet, like him, "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." because what I understand is that we are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling for reverence of God and anticipation of the possibility of hell. Are you worried you will go to jail when you drive down the street obeying the speed limit, the traffic laws and driving sensibly - intending to obey the laws and not breaking any that you are aware of? You shouldn't be.If we are worried we may lose eternal life though? Where is our faith in God? Eternal life is based on his promise. Not how good we are. We can’t be good enough
Quotable. That would be the half that is true.
I do not understand you.Quotable.
"half"...and therein lies the problem.
Thanks for making your position perfectly clear!
