You left out these proceeding verses:
"…put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow." (Isaiah 1:16-17)
You must stop sinning to receive the benefits of your pet verse.
My friend i was the worst of the worst . HE sent grace , drew me to Christ and gave me a whole new heart .
I , like paul , was in the midst of my darkness , But then His grace appeared . His grace changed my heart
and gave me whole new desires . And that same grace bids me to continue to remind with ALL the reminders
JESUS gave and the apostles gave . INCLUDING this reminder . FOR YE are made partakers of Christ , IF you hold
the confidence firm to the END . Paul knew . AND He warned them . CONTINUE IN JESUS or ELSE .
Continue in the goodness of GOD or you ALSO Like they were will be cast out .
I worry for many folks my friend . Many no longer behold the severity of GOD and thus they preach a false GOODNESS of HIM as well .
Many have been sealed , but not with the SPIRIT , but rather with the doctrines of men .
EITHER we are HIS or we are not HIS . AND IF WE ARE HIS , we would not make void His teachings nor the teachings and reminders
of those apostles . LOOK how many times they warned the church , Ye must continue in HIM to the end .
Even warning them with reminders of what happened to the angels which left their First estate .
RETURN , YE RETURN O PEOPLES , for why will ye die under the deceptions of men .
Many cling to an acroynm and doctrines of men , but as for me i shall Cling to CHRIST and HIS teachings , the apostels teachings
And remember to behold BOTH the goodness and severity of GOD . UNTO HIM LET US HEED , lest we fall after the same wicked examples
of unbelief . IF paul and others said it , I SAY IT . And i say it with no apologies . This church age is truly tanked .
And with tears in my eyes and sorrow in my heart , FOR SO MANY , still i march on by the power of the grace of GOD .
