I understand the concept of losing our salvation but in reality salvation is not something we can lose.
Salvation has a no return policy.
We can fall away....and the consequences of that are hell.
But you would be in hell as a Christian.
When we are saved we are accepted into the family of God.....
From there we work out our salvation with fear and trembling.
In the end our deeds for good or bad are judged and we go to heaven as Christians or we go hell as Christians.
In the end salvation is not on trial nor is it a determination if a person was saved or not.
As a child of God we know the right way....if we go the wrong way it is our fault and we will pay for it.
The Bible tells us how many ways we can fail to inherit the Kingdom of God.
How do you define Salvation?
Depending on how it is used....maybe I can see your point in the first paragraph.
For example: Jesus is my Salvation..[deliverance]
How do I lose Him If I know I can call on Him.
His blood forgives.....[therefore His blood also is my deliverence] how do I lose it if I know How to receive forgiveness]
Also one is sealed with the Spirit[guide,etc]..[how do you lose the Spirit in whom you are sealed with]
But salvation is a life...
It is Life that motivates our works that lead to fruit.
That life is our journey of what we do with Christ. Therefore maybe I can say: it is our walk with Him. Or what we do with Him...
Therefore if you do nothing with Him....where is your life??
So based on this....if the Joy of the Lord is my strengh- therefore my salvation....[protection,confidence, ]
Can you lose salvation if you stop and do nothing?
But then again
Why did the man say restore unto me the Joy of my Salvation?
If He knows who the deliver is.....but does not experience deliverence ...He has not lost God...but deliverence from God....
Rather deliverence is of His conscience of not being restored back into fellowship.
Hence repentance
The people were told if they would turn from their sins and seek God's face then would He hear from heaven and forgive their sins...
They did not lose God....but their fellowship
Let me know what you meant by your first paragraph...
You either walking with Him, or you are not
