I think we, the church, have brought some of this on ourselves.
By ostracizing the LGBTQ community, we left them to their own devices.
They had find their own way without our interference.

You may have seen some of my previous topics on the subject.

The church has a duty to reprove the misrepresentation of Christ and His teachings. The Westboro Baptist bunch were blatantly misrepresenting Him by running around with picket signs saying "God Hates Fags." Most Christians I know strongly opposed that. But so too should they rightly oppose Jesus being presented as a drag queen. Ostracization or not, the truth cannot be silenced. If it dies out of fear of someone being ostracized, it will be good for nothing but to be cast out into the street and trampled under the feet of men.

Because I have no interest in engaging the prattle flooding the internet
It is not prattle when one is speaking up against evil creeping into the church and warning others as to the evil.

3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. 4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. Jude 1:3-4

Our/ my carnal nature thrives on highlighting the shortcomings of others. I want to distance myself from both hearing and speaking blame....whatever form it comes in.
I have learned that when I engage it, it steals my joy. When I do not engage it, a spring in my emotional step is present and my connection with my Saviour is alive.

That is your viewpoint. Do what you want.

After seeing two churches destroyed by gay and leftist policies, I speak up to give warnings as Jude 1:3 says to do.

I agree. As I said if an individual comes to church for forgiveness and help, that is fine.
That attitude minimizes a very complex subject.
All the letters in LGBTQ represent different issues.

If a family in your church has a child with gender dysphoria, they might as well leave the church.
They will find zero understanding or support there.

What is the appropriate response then?
If a family in your church has a child with gender dysphoria, what do you do?

And that is true as God hates sin - and the unrepentant sinner.

All the letters in LGBTQ represent different issues.
What the letters have in common is an affront to God, promoting sexual deviancy as normal.

That particular Baptist Church wasn't really a part of Baptist denominations. It was a very strange church....they would hold up those picket signs at the funerals of gays. It wasn't a good witness when people were in grief at the cemetery.

I think it would be the opposite. When a family has problems and attends a sound church, they will find love and support.
It depends on which church then.
Not every church is prepared, or even interested, in being supportive of LGBTQ issues.

LGBTQ issues are not something outside the church. We are affected as well.
Please read my OP statement on the topic below if you wonder where I am coming from. Thanks.

Sodom, Gomorrah, and the surrounding areas gave themselves over to all sorts of sexual perversion (rape would be included in this), but homosexual attraction and activity, described as a desire for “strange flesh,” is also included. Jude describes homosexual desire as a desire for hetero flesh because it is “different” from the God-ordained plan for sexuality. Jude says that the men of Sodom were judged for this and stand as an example of God’s willingness and ability to judge such actions in the future.

So a child that feels that they were born in the wrong body is a sexual deviant? How?

[
Look at STV defending 'trannies'! No surprise whatsoever! Do you also defend children having sex changes?

--- PARODY ---

A straight son comes out to his gay parents.

Son: Dad, we need to talk.
Father: Sure son, what's on your mind?
Son: (gulp) I'm straight.
Father: Say what? ??? !!!
Son: That's right, I'm straight.
Father: Does your father know about this?
Son: No, I wanted to tell you first.
Father: I see. Better let me speak to him first.
Son: Thanks. I'm sorry, I don't mean to hurt either one of you.
Father: Yes, this is a disappointment. We thought we raised you right.
Son: You're fine. It's me. I can't deny my opposite sex attraction.
Father: What can I say? I remember coming out to my parents.
Son: Tell me what that was like.
Father: It was terrible. We didn't speak for years.
Son: Wow, I didn't know.
Father: I'm not going to treat you that way. I accept you as you are.
Son: (tears) Thanks, Dad. I love you.
Father: I'll speak with your father. Hopefully he will take it well too.
Son: I would like to bring my girlfriend home for Christmas.
Father: Whoa, you have a girlfriend? (gasp)
Son: Yes, of course.
Father: No worries. We'll get through this one step at a time.

Church Greeter: Welcome to church!
Church Visitor: Thanks, my first time here.
Church Greeter: Great, we are glad you are here. One question...
Church Visitor: Uh, okay. What is it?
Church Greeter: Are you LGBTQIA+ ?
Church Visitor: Um... that's not one thing, that's at least seven things. ???
Church Greeter: We just ask that you leave that at the door when you enter this holy place.
Church Visitor: Seriously?
Church Greeter: Yes, the Bible tells us that those things are evil, we want no evil here.
Church Visitor: You do know that there is a HUGE difference between LGBQ and TIA, right?
Church Greeter: Nope, all one thing to us. Sinful, very sinful.
Church Visitor: You can argue that LGBQ is not genetic, but clearly TIA are genetic.
Church Greeter: Sorry, I'm not studied in these things.
Church Visitor: Obviously.
Church Greeter: Are you LGBTQIA+, or not?
Church Visitor: I'm pretty sure this isn't going to work. Goodbye.
Indeed. What's wrong with this picture?

And I answered your question. You seem to deny some people can be sexual deviants despite their behavior.
As I understand it it, sexual deviation is a behavior.
One can't be sexually deviant without the sexually deviant behavior.

Are you claiming that a boy who plays with dolls is sexually deviant?
