James says it right here that he is talking to Christians, whom God has chosen through the Blood of Jesus.

James 2:5 - Listen to me, dear brothers and sisters. Hasn’t God chosen the poor in this world to be rich in faith? Aren’t they the ones who will inherit the Kingdom he promised to those who love him? 6 But you dishonor the poor! Isn’t it the rich who oppress you and drag you into court? 7 Aren’t they the ones who slander Jesus Christ, whose noble name you bear?

If you think that you're one of those poor, then do as He tells you:

"Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned. Give, and it will be given to you." (Lk. 6:36-38)

"For judgment is without mercy to him who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment." (Jas. 2:13)

God makes no distinction between who He wants you to show and not show mercy to.

God makes no distinction between who we should and shouldn't show mercy to, humans do.

Additionally, God made two sexes: male and female. He intended for men and women as husbands and wives to procreate together. After the fall of Adam and Eve, suffering, disease, and death entered the world. Therefore, for example, some people are born with a disorder, others experience trauma, and so on, that make them feel they're meant to be, or attracted to, the opposite sex. Meditate on how easily you could've been born with a disorder, or experienced a trauma, and so on, that makes you feel you're meant to be, or attracted to, the opposite sex. Then, meditate on others calling you an abomination to God for something that happened to you out of your control. Furthermore, you can't foresee the future, so for all you know, tomorrow or any day going forward, you could choose to become or be attracted to the opposite sex, for whatever reason.

What is in each person's control is how they choose to respond to the people and circumstances that happen to and around them. What we, as Christians, shouldn't support or commit is immoralities, which is more grave if done while knowing that it's wrong, regardless of one's sex and sexuality. If I see someone supporting or committing immorality, they're still someone made in God's image and likeness, whom He commands me to be charitable to in word and deed, just as He's charitable to me despite any immoralities He sees me commit. It's possible to be charitable towards someone while also not approving of the immortality that we see being done. None of us, with the exception of a few, are without having committed immorality, and thus what position are we in to judge others for the immoralities that they commit?

"Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned. Give, and it will be given to you." (Lk. 6:36-38)

"For judgment is without mercy to him who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment." (Jas. 2:13)

Consider what our Creator has to say about this:

Ephesians 5:1-12 (NKJV) 1 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. 3 But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; 4 neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not be partakers with them. 8 For you were once darkness, but now [you are] light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the Spirit [is] in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose [them.] 12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.

Correct. But only towards His chosen ones, through the Blood of Christ.
Roman 9:14-16 -
Are we saying, then, that God was unfair? Of course not! 15 For God said to Moses,
“I will show mercy to anyone I choose,
and I will show compassion to anyone I choose.”

16 So it is God who decides to show mercy. We can neither choose it nor work for it.

You cannot interpret you own version of scripture.

2 Peter 1:20 - knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

My friend, these are the latter days that the Olivet Prophecy warns us about in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. Do you not see the evil in the world spreading like wildfire? Do you not see the deception and the lies and the false hope consuming those who don’t know? And why don’t they know? Because the churches are not teaching like they should be teaching, and folks are not reading their Bibles. It’s deception time; no, there is no peace. Watch out for that one-worldism. It’s all around you.

Jeremiah 6:13-16 (NKJV) 13 “Because from the least of them even to the greatest of them, Everyone [is] given to covetousness; And from the prophet even to the priest, Everyone deals falsely. 14 They have also healed the hurt of My people slightly, Saying, ‘Peace, peace!’ When [there is] no peace. 15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No! They were not at all ashamed; Nor did they know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; At the time I punish them, They shall be cast down,” says the LORD. 16 Thus says the LORD: “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way [is,] And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk [in it.]’

Why do you think Christians debate about the meaning of the same verse? It's because each is interpreting it differently, but all interpretations can't be right.
With the Holy Spirit, through the crucified, resurrected, and Glorified Jesus Christ, there is no disagreements. There is a plethora of people, who act and talk like Christians that lack solid bible knowledge and believe only they have discovered the truth debate, But the Holy Spirit tells me what I need to know.

Do you realize how easily you could've been born with a disorder, or experienced a trauma, and so on, that makes you feel you're meant to be, or attracted to, the opposite sex? Yes or no? If it had, do you really think God would consider you an abomination for something that happened to you out of your control? Yes or no?

Furthermore, you can't foresee the future, so do you understand that for all you know, tomorrow or any day going forward, you could choose to become or be attracted to the opposite sex, for whatever reason? If so, do you really think that that in and of itself is going to dictate where you spend eternity?

When I graduated in 1982 there were people teaching that 1984 would start the last 7 years.
Then in 1987 there was a book 88 Reasons Why Christ Will Return in 88, then he said he missed it by a year and wrote another one for 89.
Then they said the rapture would be in 93 and then the last 7 years and the world would end in 2000.
Then there was Y2K the biggest non event in history.
We've been in the last days a long time

Evidently you didn’t read it or your own post and now you’re making yourself look foolish
You said
Being in the United States without legal documentation is a civil offense. Illegal immigration is not a criminal offense in the United States unless the immigrant has been deported and re-entered without persmission.
Not true.
Correct.

It should be noted that under Biden America was the only country on Earth with an open border.

An open border is contrary to the meaning of national borders.

And we see what that Treason wrought. Because Cartel members, gang members, mentally ill people let out of asylums, aren't going to come anywhere near Biden,Harris, or any member of Congress or SCOTUS. Nor,any state leaders or Representatives.

Trump haters condemned SCOTUS for their decision that says Trump can't be prosecuted for anything he did while in office.

What they don't realize, those haters,is that decision pertains to all presidents past and future.

Which means, Bidens Treason cannot be prosecuted?

A man who pardons his whole family right before he leaves the office of president likely knew that decision was inevitable. A half century in the Senate makes for powerful connections.
Admittedly corrupt from the start of his career, Biden exploits the perks.

And we the people have to live with it.

You might consider Lux is Catholic.
They believe what their church tells them to believe.

Which is why most are Biblically illiterate.

You can thank Jesus, the founder of the Christian (Catholic) Church, His apostles, and their successors, for your copy of Scripture.

Yet Jesus said, "Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned. Give, and it will be given to you." (Lk. 6:36-38)

So, you need to work on your interpretation of other verses.

I might ask how is it not being merciful to any people to overlook/or cancel/or simply not impose any and all fines that would apply for entering into our country illegally? Only so far as it applies to illegal immigration that is.

Not only that, but offering to pay for their return trip back to their homeland?

That is very generous I think.

Even as the Lord shows us in this picture, when reckoning what is owed to him and to considered those who had not enough to pay him, as it says

But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

Wait... wait... not that part (that was a little harsh) knee jerk reaction... keep reading

The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

And this servant was even willing to work this off, he wasnt even going to ask for freebies and here is where his heart softens

Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

And so we should go and do likewise, show compassion

And we as a nation we too could forgive any such debt for all the penalties (or fines) that should apply in this situation to all these people. And not only that, but we should go the extra mile and even and pay for their transportation back home.

That would be showing mercy, and going that extra mile.

Besides, that servant ended up taking the kindness of the Lord for granted anyway. Regardless he did first show mercy before judging the servant for not returning the same favor to others (and then locked him up).

Yes, you can. And, Trump is not only a sitting president, but a self-proclaimed Christian. If he's not speaking or acting the way a Christian should, it's her duty as God's minister on earth to remind him of His Word, especially when he's a leader.
Oh, so now you changed your mind...now all of a sudden.it's ok to judge, I get it.....it's ok to judge when it suits you and fits your agenda.

Make up your mind.

I've been citing verses where Jesus says don't judge if you don't want to be judged, and that if you do judge you'll judged by the same measure, etc.

It's not disrespectful to make pleas to a leader, nor is it disrespectful for a Christian leader to remind a self-proclaimed Christian who's also in a position of leadership of God's Word on humility, love, and mercy. It's both their duty as Christians in positions of leadership to first and foremost follow God's laws, so that they can better serve Him and others in their position of authority. As a Christian yourself, you should want to see all leaders speak and act in the ways of God.

For goodness sake these children (what? 3 years old programmed to believe they are gay). These, who are supposedly scared out of their mind have parents who are drinking in the MSM koolaid 24/7 of "Orange man bad! Orange man Hitler! Orange man is a dictator!" Doom and gloom. And rather than being honest and address the party of the koolaiders (the ones hyperventilating and screeching endlessly over the airways with their falsehoods) she takes up their pleas, and appeals to him be merciful (as if he was any of all that which they claim). How disengenuous.
