I had a dream this morning. I was in an old small town walking in a large wine press. ( about 30 ft diameter with about a 3 ft wall ) I was the only person walking in the wine press, the grapes were about ankle deep.
I kept thinking over and over, I have to wash my feet, I have to wash my feet. Then the Grapes were above my knees and I was still the only there.
Then I woke up and could not go back to sleep. I got up about 4 hours earlier then normal.
I was reminded of the passage in the Bible " the harvest is great but the laborers are few."
Isa 63:1-6
Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?
I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.
Grapes of wrath. And I believe it has to be the Lord Jesus, because no one else is worthy. We in our flesh are not worthy. That might be why you kept saying you need to wash your feet.
(That reminds me of Jesus humbly washing feet at the last supper like the lowest ranking servant would do, and instructing His disciples to be of the same mind and attitude, which really maybe they could only be after first allowing Jesus to wash their feet.)
