YYou did not look very hard.
Lol Ronald....ONCE AGAIN....you didn't even read (YOU did not look very hard) the articles YOU provided as "evidence". He never said they are brothers/sisters in Christ.

YOU are a dishonest person.

Scripture says the Church is the pillar and foundation of truth
What Scripture says that?

Also, by "church," Scripture was not referring to that political entity that came into existence in 1054 known as the Roman Catholic Church.

He never said they are brothers/sisters in Christ.
You have a contentious spirit Mary. I pray you and all of God's children will grow closer to him and to each other.

Calling Imams and Rabbis in a religious setting is very telling. You are busy hyper parsing things to avoid the obvious.

Your ignorance of your own Christian history and Scripture is astounding.

Thanks for your prayers.

The Devil complained to me that the early Church fathers were "dated", that focussing on the past was easier to condemn.

Foxes book of martyrs on the other hand, was about the sacrifice of the first witnesses, and was in a sense timeless.

And why would Satan HImself complain to you. If he is the one doing the complaining, I would expect it to be a lie.

You are privileging the Devil, that's inadvisable.

I am just relaying my experience: the Devil washes his hands of someone who is stuck in the past. The Lord Himself said "change house, once you have cleaned an unclean spirit out, if you don't it will be worse for you" (Gospels, from memory).

So whether you hear it from God or the Devil, "don't get stuck in the past!" (I think Ecclesiastes advises this also)

Why would you put trust in the "Early Fathers?"

Do they dictate the life of the spiritual? Could an Early Father ever be wrong about something? I get people study and go to college and everything concerning these things, but does trusting in the "Early Fathers" really make a difference in someones life who actively seeks for the Father in heaven, and live by the spirit of Christ?
Another subtle attack on the Bible?

I don't privilege the devil and have no clue what you mean by being stuck in the past. And your memory fo the gospel passage is horrendous!

Matt. 12:

43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

It is talking about the soul of a person and once the demon is exorcised- it needs to be filled with the Holy Spiit or the person will be repossessed.

You have misinterpreted Matthew 12:43. You need to completely change your circumstances, or the unclean spirit will take advantage of you.

Unclean spirits are not synonymous with "demons".

It's interesting that you interpret this scripture to be about demons, but not Matthew 12:29 "No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house." I mean, I think it is about having peace, but to your it probably means Satan fighting Satan?

Well they are and Jesus made that clear. As He did here in Matt.12.

22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.

23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?

24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.

28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

then after condeming the Pharisees He continues this narrative:

43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

Uncelan spirits are colloquially all called demons. They are fallen angels, Seraphs and cherubs. these spirits are not the spirits of people who leave their bodies to torment someone else! Think man and stop being so judgmental.

Even the Roman Catholic church can find Church Fathers to support them; so No, we can't trust the ECF's like we can trust the Bible. For the most part, the ECF's are good; because they agree on the Fundamentals...

When's the last time you've seen the Early Church Fathers disagree on the good stuff?
