Why has the thread 'Why was "I am God" thread locked?' also been locked before I had a chance to reply? In that thread Rita posted:

the trinity can be discussed, and threads will be monitored. The statement of faith adds that it is now a close handed subject and cannot be debated against.

The moderators have been posting confusing messages, but it now seems that they kindly permit us to discuss the Trinity but only as long as you don't point out that it is not Biblical and not supported by the Word of God. It is such a fundamental topic, and a topic that is very popular - after it was announced that it could be discussed again the floodgates opened and it immediately became the most popular subject of discussion on this forum. For a Christian forum to ban Christians from discussing any Christian belief, such censorship seems absurd to me, and not what I would expect Christians to do. What are they afraid of? The truth?

Christians should be like the Bereans - Acts 17:11 (UASV+):

(11) Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, who received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.

It is wrong to ban Christians from discussing Christian doctrine and the meaning of verses of the Bible! Will they ban us from even thinking about Christian doctrine next? Saul used to disagree with Christians, and he persecuted them. What did Jesus say to him? Acts 9:4 (WEB):

(4) He fell on the earth, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”

According to dictionaries close-handed means "stingy, miserly, or unwilling to spend money or give generously. It can also be used to describe someone who is secretive or keeps their emotions hidden." I'm none the wiser as to why the Trinity cannot be discussed!

Yep, you can only argue against the Trinity in the non Christian forums, exactly where it belongs.
Well we can't do that. When I go to any of the Non-Christian forums it says "You have insufficient privileges to post threads here".

Moreover, I disagree. Christians should be able to study and discuss Christain beliefs in a Bible Study forum. It's exactly where it belongs.

The endless disputes against the Trinity are fruitless, and detract from the purpose of this forum which upholds the doctrine of the Trinity.

Much love!

I was wondering the same thing since I didn't get a chance to refute your argument against Jesus being "I AM" . Your denial of the Trinity as well as the deity of Christ makes one wonder. I will be happy to debate both doctrines with you at anytime!

You could equally say that all topics that are repeatedly discussed are fruitless. What is the purpose of this forum? At the bottom of every page the 'About us' paragraph says:

"Our community has been around for many years and pride ourselves on offering unbiased, critical discussion among people of all different backgrounds. We are working every day to make sure our community is one of the best."

So it seems that the purpose of the forum(s) is to offer unbiased, critical discussion by Christians and non-Christians. Note the words that I underlined. Insisting that people don't argue (presenting crtical agruments based on Biblical verses) against the man-made Trinity doctrine is not being unbiased, and not offering unbiased, critical discussion.
