Why do some people not like the idea of OSAS?

The devil is traditionally seen as an angel of heaven that was called morningstar (a fairly high angel rank) and as per your OSAS the devil never fell. :) . Judas Iscariot was an apostle chosen by Jesus but as per your OSAS Judas never fell. But lo as per the bible they fell. You claim to be born-again to be seated above the Most High and say bible smible, OSAS all the way. You and your minions have secured something eternal but it ain't life.

That's a great question. But I might be the wrong person to ask.
In addition to OSAS, I'm also UR. So... ultimately everyone will be saved. (Ultimate Redemption)
Or, functionally, everyone is ALREADY saved due to the finished work of the Atonement on our behalf.

I'll try again. But this time I'll frame it in evangelical terms.
We recognized a moment of salvation.
A specific point in time when we believed and turned our lives over to God.
A conversion experience. Typically including confession of sin and repentance,
to turn away from our previous life without God. This time being the answer to the question:
"When were you saved?"

Of course, this is only one aspect of salvation. The salvation of our soul.

Some people don't like OSAS because they prefer works-righteousness over the righteousness of God which is by faith and self-preservation over God's preservation. Some people want to do it themselves and save. It's a pride issue.

If we think we don't have eternal security, what could take salvation away?

1) I will explain this once. Morningstar implies a greater angel in heaven. Lucifer means light or lightbearer. What does salvation mean to you? Does it not include heaven or choices of God? Where do you end up when you are saved?
2) Now you are great discerner that you deem Judas was not an apostle. Is your discernment is greater than the Messiah?

It's does not when the whole counsel of God is accepted.

If one rejects the whole counsel of God and gets infected with Cherry Pickers Syndrome by listening to all the popular false teachers... then they "think" it's a biblical doctrine.

It's similar to those people who believe cars run on gasoline. They think this is all that is needed is fill up their car with gas and that's all it needs to go down the road.

No, actually cars don't run on gas! In reality cars run on gas, oil, water (coolant), transmission fluid, air, and electricity.... if one takes any one of these elements away, the car won't run.

OSAS peoples are the folks that think cars only need gas to run and they deny cars need any of these other elements to function. In other words, they only have part of the picture and get upset at others that are more knowledgeable due to simply accepting the whole counsel of God.
