People who have not received the Holy Spirit can't understand scripture and are spiritually blind and deaf to the word of God. And Catholics have been brainwashed from birth by their 'Mother church' who has as its leader an infallible man so what he says must be true.

It is simply astonishing to me how Catholics are captive to so many beliefs and rituals that have nothing to do with the New Covenant. They have invented a
religion that follows itself instead of the Lord. It is, to my mind, a huge
corporation that has seduced its followers into accepting whatever they can dream up, packaging it to make it seem as though it comes from God. The Pope is the chairman of the board, headquartered in his luxurious palace in Rome, with his coterie of costumed lackies who dream up the religion they claim is from God, then bilk their followers, many of whom are from impoverished countries, out of whatever money they have.
They sneer at the Bible -- God's written word -- adding one misinterpretation after another to justify their false religion. And perhaps worst of all, they portray Jesus as
dead(!), still on the cross!
It is both tragic and disgusting! When the day comes when they face God, I wouldn't want to be a witness to their judgement!
