Thank you. And it seems you can't escape it anywhere you go huh?
Well, Carm does not allow personal attacks, rule 12/22:) Some slip by i'm sure but the mods take pretty good care of the boards. People for many reasons are suspended/banned every day.People are people where ever we go, lol. Although I think some sites might be better moderated by not allowing personal attacks? I have not been on many at all to really know much about them :)
I'm glad you found a place youre comfortable being in. Its nice to know people pray for you when you ask. And its also nice to know you can dialogue without feeling out of place. True believers, hopefully are here to glorify God with their speech. Either presenting the gospel or defending it. We all should be gospel people. A false gospel saved exactly 0 people. While we are here we need to be promoting a full strength, undiluted gospel. Let God do the rest:) God bless. For Christian Forums, it always seemed to be a place I went to when I felt lost in something and needed that extra fellowship and support from other believers. But when I was invited here, I felt pretty dumb compared to everyone else using Greek and everything. So it has become more of a challenge for me then anything I think that has a smaller amount of people then a huge forum. It is easier to understand people and their views that way. I found that close community of fellowship and support with unique views also Ive never heard before. It is good to know what to say when I hear it...or give me a fresh perspective of God's Word. I am so grateful for that. I am grateful, because I know on here when I ask for prayer, people pray. And I have gotten back to the gifts of the Spirit and remember how important they are in my life.
It is also a good spiritual/intellectual getaway as a stay at home mom of an 18 month old. It keeps me sane, even though sometimes I find myself googling how to prep for a thermonuclear war and realize digging a grave is the best option to be with Jesus.

i am interested to hear why you have decided to post here. Some have been clear about why they have decided to contribute to this board - Bread of Life is here to challenge his perceived misconceptions about the Catholic Church (NOT THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH IDIOTS); meanwhile, Helen is here primarily for the fellowship. I am here to clarify my own beliefs in the moment and to have a record of change over time. So, why are you here?
Jude is indeed a stirring Epistle.Hello! I'm also new here, but not new to Christian/Apologetics forums - and another CARM refugee ;)
I've been saved for almost 50 years and ever since the day I accepted Christ I've had a huge burden for the lost. Seeing so much deception, blindness, and lies of the enemy my heart breaks so I want to "contend earnestly for the faith" as Jude says.
I'm here because I enjoy chatting with other folks whom love God. Fellowship and learning about other people's views are big things for me.i am interested to hear why you have decided to post here. Welcome!
I'm here because my work is really slow.
And so long as I'm to man the phone, I'm stuck at this computer. Manning the phone is dreadfully important for this tiny little company.
And so long as I have all this time, nothing better to do than to share with the saints of God!
Much love!
Tell your owner you should also have a pre-recorded message line so people can get enticing information 24 hours. A website can also do the same job of screening for the perfect customer and providing them with pre-sales "warming" information.
Hopefully you are still around sometime to read this, my friend. We bumped heads here some but you were always kind in your treatment of me and others, even in the disagreements. We really would like to see you back if ever it is a possibility!I contribute to other forums but this is the best one by a long-shot. Jesus warns us about not investing what he has given us so I'm the little guy sharing in good faith what the Lord has shown me. In thanksgiving and sheer excitement that he would bless me as he has. I also appreciate the other posters to this forum whom I admire for their composure and loving attitudes even when we disagree. It is that resilience more than what people say that comes through where it really matters. In similar ways, how many times have the memories of two old baptists I knew also kept me in the faith when the world was going crazy around me.
No one recognizes me anymore as an interviewer, but I remember when I first moved from a non-public Social Security office to a very public field office. I worked long hard hours in those days and met lots of people. They found my name and number in the phone book [no Internet in those days and no call ID on the phone] and would call me at home in the evenings and on my days off to ask Social Security questions. I had to get an unlisted phone number and my wife began to answer all phone calls. It was the only way I could get some rest and peace and privacy...I smile a lot. I do not use my real name or picture because I still have political enemies. Just not worth the risk of them finding me here.
Yeah, I know that sounds dramatic but just the way it is. View attachment 6052 View attachment 6053
