on and on and on and on ad nauseum!
Didn't we already go through this (ad nauseam)?
I have received the Holy Spirit as Jesus promised and He (the Holy Spirit) guides me into all truth.
Soooooo - WHO is guiding all of the other tens of thousands of disjointed and perpetually-splintering Protestant factions that ALL teach different doctrines??

Dors the Holy Spitit create this confusion - or is it MEN?
WHO is right and WHO is wrong - and HOW do you know?

"...since you continually spout unScriptural nonsense and refuse to pay attention to what God clearly says in the Bible."
If I accidentally sin, I know that my sins are forgiven.
Ummmmm, can you show me where "God clearly says in the Bible" that your sins are automatically forgiven without having to repent?
I didn't think so . . .
I have news for you: neither Mary nor your priests (from the Pope on down) can possibly forgive your sins.
This one is complete idiocy . . .

Can you show me the Cathollic teaching that MARY can forgive sins?
Wanna rethink that one - or do you want to just stick with the LIE now that you'be neen exposed??

As for the priest not being able to forgive sins in Christ's name - lets see what JESUS said to the leaders of His Church . . .
John 20:21-23
Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent ME, so I send YOU.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the holy Spirit. Whose sins YOU FORGIVE are forgiven them, and whose sins YOU RETAIN are retained.”

WHAT did the Father "send" the Son to do??
Answer: To bring about the FORGIVENESS of sins.
Sooooo - WHAT is the Son sending His disciples out to do??

I would ask you to offer a BIBLICAL refutatuon of this - but since you have FAILED so many times at doing this, I won't hold my breath . . .

And, while you're thining about it - let's also see what Paul has to say on the matter -
2 Cor. 5:18-20:
“And all this is from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and
given US the ministry of reconciliation, namely, God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting their trespasses against them and entrusting to US the message of reconciliation. So WE are ambassadors for Christ, as if God were appealing through US. WE implore YOU on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”

"...given US the ministry of reconciliation"??
"...entrusting to US the message of reconciliation"??
"WE are ambassadors for Christ as if God were appealing through US"??
"WE implre YOU""?

WHO is "US" and "WE" - and WHO is "YOU"??
Wait - there's more . . .

2 Cor. 2:10
“Whomever you forgive anything, so do I.
For indeed what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, has been for you in the presence of Christ.

In the Greek, the word “presence” in this phrase is "prosopone", which means Person. "In the PERSON of Christ" is a more correct translation. Paul was indicating that THEY were forgiving sins in the PERSON of Christ, which is translated into Latin as "In Persona Christi".

I'll eait right here for your Biblical refutations . . .

PS - this is for ALL of you anti-Catholics - so feel free to jump in with your Biblical refutations . . .

christ is our source of truth!
Jn 14:6

Usual out-of-context garbage.

"Jesus replied, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you have known me, you will know my Father too. And from now on you do know him and have seen him.” John 14:6-7

Either the Bible is the true words of God or it isn't. You find it convenient to ignore this with irrelevant quotes time after time. You believe your priests; I believe God's word. You chose man's wisdom; I choose God's truth.

Yes, and we have names of Christians who were killed. You don't. You can't name ONE. The first 39+ popes were killed by pagan Romans. You guys can't name one Christian in the first 3 centuries who were killed for refusing to worship the beast. Your bible-twisting ignores the hard facts of history, so you have no business trying to identify with the early martyrs. Your ignorant hate speech is obvious. You give much more power to statues of Mary than Catholics do. Your claim that statues of Mary "are the precursor of the IMAGE OF THE BEAST....." is an insult to the mother of Jesus and to Jesus Himself.
BTW, there are no speaking statues of Mary. Your lies are stupid and absurd.

No, we must be subject to Peter in Acts 2:38, whom was subject to Jesus per Matt 28:19.
Catholics agree.
That's why Jesus put him in charge (Matt. 16:18-19, Luke 22:31-32, John 21:15-19).

In Matt. 28:19, Jesus told Peter and the rest that they must Baptize "in the name of the FATHER and of the SON and of the HOLY SPIRIT."
Peter and his successors have been following this command for 2000 years.

Time for a Linguistics Lesson, Einstein . . .

The Greek word used for "Name" in Matt. 28:19 is ονομα (on'-om-ah).
Here is the DEFINITON of that word:
1) name: univ. of proper names 2) the name is used for everything which the name covers, everything the thought or feeling of which is aroused in the mind by mentioning, hearing, remembering, the name, i.e. for one's rank, authority, interests, pleasure, command, excellences, deeds etc.

It's important to rememer ONE thing, son:
Greek is NOT English, so you've LOST this argument . . .

And speaking of Acts 2:38, which YOU brought up - you left out the verse that followS.
We ALSO agree with what Peter said regarding our children and Baptism:
Acts 2:38-39
And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your CHILDREN and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”

Good advice, Einstein . . .

As usual theefaith is taking something out of context to "prove" false doctrine.

Here is wrote Ezekiel wrote -- in context: ‘I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries; then I will bring you to your land. I will sprinkle you with pure water, and you will be clean from all your impurities. I will purify you from all your idols. I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will remove the heart of stone from your body and give you a heart of flesh. I will put my Spirit within you; I will take the initiative, and you will obey my statutes and carefully observe my regulations." Ezekiel 36:24-27

a) Gather the Jews from distant lands
b) Clean them from their impurities and idols
c) Give them a new heart: remove the heart of stone and replace it with one of flesh
d) Put His Spirit within them
c) Then they will obey His statutes and carefully observe His regulations

Anyone who thinks this refers to the water baptism of the New Testament is nuts!
You left out "I will sprinkle you with pure water" out if blindness. It's a precursor to water baptism. You are the one who is nuts.

Typical cowardice.
You NEVER seem to be able to address the issue, Hit-and-run comments are all you're good for . . .

Sooooo - everytime some Protestant whacko says or does something bizarre - we should attribute that to ALL Protestants as ""official" Protestant doctrine?

Even you're not that stupid . . .

Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” 39 By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified. John7:38&39

I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean/or rivers of living water you could say; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Ezekiel36:26&27

Its all about the Holy Spirit and what he will do under the new covenant. If catholics concentrated as much on the Holy Spirit as they do water baptism, rite, ritual and ceremony there eyes would be wide open!

It truly saddens me that you are trapped in unbelief. You come up with one irrational statement after another.

When you understand the truth in Christ instead of your false religion, let us know. Otherwise, just keep babbling and nobody will pay attention.

I will respond to only one of your sentences. You wrote "Ummmmm, can you show me where "God clearly says in the Bible" that your sins are automatically forgiven without having to repent?
I didn't think so . . ."

Really??? Are you that ignorant???

About him [Jesus] all the prophets testify, that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” Acts 10:43

"Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through this one forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you" Acts 13:38

"In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our offenses, according to the riches of his grace" Ephesians 1:7

"in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." Colossians 1:14

"And even though you were dead in your transgressions and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, he nevertheless made you alive with him, having forgiven all your transgressions." Colossians 2:13

"I am writing to you, little children, that your sins have been forgiven because of his name." 1 John 2:12

Why don't you take a break from your blind hostility and READ YOUR BIBLE!!!!!

Jesus called Peter Satan! Matthew 16:21-23, " From that time on Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests, and experts in the law, and be killed, and on the third day be raised. So Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him: “God forbid, Lord! This must not happen to you!” But he turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, because you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but on man’s.”

That was before Peter denied Jesus three times!

And in Galatia, Peter behaved like such a hypocrite that Paul was prompted to call him out in front of everyone.

Galatians 2:13-14, "And the rest of the Jews also joined with him [Peter, a.k.a Cephas] in this hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was led astray with them by their hypocrisy. But when I saw that they were not behaving consistently with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in front of them all, “If you, although you are a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you try to force the Gentiles to live like Jews?”

So the Catholic denomination is founded by a man who called Jesus "Satan", denied knowing Him three times in His final hours, then acted like a hypocrite afterwards. That explains why Catholic doctrine is founded on lies and hypocrisy!

Poor exegesis and faulty logic, Einstein . . .

I agree that there can be undue skepticism (and in this case, quite a bit, I think), but on the other hand (as has been pointed out above several times), no Catholic is required to believe in any Marian apparition, no matter how firmly established. It’s a private revelation. So no one ought to get unduly dogmatic about it.
But you don't care, you invent stupid absurd dogmas about it.

Repeating blatant misinformation after you have been corrected shows an obstinate and closed heart.. Welcome to the ignore list...

If you're ignoring me why do you respond to me? More importantly, why do you still depict Jesus as dead (on the cross) when He is actually resurrected and alive in heaven?

And the blind being led by the blind Catholic teachers is rational? You fall into the ideological ditch while I and other Protestants continue to thrive in Christ.

Jesus called Peter "Satan" and you claim that he founded your denomination. That is all that needs to be said!

Why not ask John the Baptist to pray for you?
Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. Matt11:11

Hail, Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

What is Mary supposed to be praying for, if not for the forgiveness of your Catholic sins?

I know you can't accept that your sins have been forgiven in Christ so you must ask a dead woman to pray for you. Truly, truly tragic!
