... and one more thing, to stay On Topic:

Where Dan. 7 presents the Lion/Eagle; Bear; Leopard (actually a TIGER); and Dreadful; -- each of these Empire of CLAY "Divided Kingdom" beasts are present today as represented by the Three Superpowers and the United Nations!

Unfortunately the church is deaf, dumb, and blind.

It seems to me that ANY Religion/Denomination that FORCES a person to accept THEIR understanding of Scripture and/or GOD, is a CULT. Of course there are always varying degrees of such imposition, but we're NOT called to be under Men, -- only under GOD. So if any MAN thinks he's our SUPERIOR, it's time to leave their company:
I understand you don't agree with what others believe...but you are taking a word that has already been defined at the time it came into use and trying to create a new definition for it when there is a word already in existence that conveys your message...occult.
So to the one reading your post who knows the correct meaning of it gets mixed messages from you....they think your referring to one thing and you are referring to the other.
Cult or Occult?
These words are sometimes confused because the expression a cult often sounds like the word occult.
Cult
most commonly means a religious sect organized around a strong leader and requiring beliefs or commitments not typical of other related groups. It can also refer to a following of a particular religious figure or icon within an organized religion or a fanatical following of a particular entertainer, athlete, film, television show, or historical figure.
Cult is normally a noun, though it can be used as an adjective meaning "having a cult following" as in ia cult film.
Occult literally means "hidden" and generally refers to the pursuit of some kind of magic or secret supernatural knowledge or power. It is most often used as an adjective but is sometimes used as a noun.
The verb to occult means "to hide from view," and is used most commonly in scientific or specialized fields such as astronomy, navigation, or optics.

CULT is the term which describes the situation where ONE religious organization CORRECTLY cites the Fifth CLAY "Divided Kingdom" as "the coalition of the willing". And I would NAME that religious organization which has no windows that the LIGHT of TRUTH might come in, and where they "worship" in DARKNESS, -- but it seems there's a Forum Restriction which I do not wish to violate!

So these individuals spout their doctrines never knowing their specifics, but "believing and following" because they're willingly "brain washed". And if they should EVER DARE TO QUESTION THEIR TEACHERS, this organization is QUICK to Excommunicate one member of a household while coercing the remaining household to stay in the "church". And so those who remain become PREY for those LEADERS.

So yeah, I know the difference and have seen that difference ...

With VERY Best Regards,
Bobby Jo :)

like the Jim Jones people...that was a cult.
Jim Jones is known for being the leader of the Peoples Temple religious group and for the Jonestown Massacre, when he led the mass murder-suicide of more than 900 members of the group at their commune in Jonestown, Guyana, on November 18, 1978.Nov 14, 2020
Or David Koresh
David Koresh i (/kəˈrɛʃ/; born Vernon Wayne Howell; August 17, 1959 – April 19, 1993) was an American cult leader who played a central role in the Waco siege of 1993. As the head of the Branch Davidians sect, an offshoot of the Davidian Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Koresh claimed to be its final prophet.
Both of these are examples of a cult of religious leaders and followers adhering to their own interpretation of living holy and righteous while claiming to love God and Jesus.

This poor horse has been buried, dug up, beat again, buried, dug up, beat again, and buried. And we've dug it up again, to beat it again.

Maybe, just maybe, this poor horse will FINALLY YIELD exactly WHO the "coalition of the willing" is comprised of. -- But my money is NOT on the CULT that NEVER DEFINED EXACTLY WHAT THEY LIED ABOUT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

And if I'm wrong and someone can define those "coalition of the willing" participants, WE AIN'T THROUGH!!! We Still Gotta fit those candidates to the Dan. 7 Lion/Bear/Leopard-(actually a TIGER).

SOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo, unless everyone's "truths" are TRUE and they WORK OUT, -- then SOME ARE LIARS. And Scripture and History backs up the TRUTH, -- RIGHT where my money IS on.

Whew, (for @Nancy),

With VERY Best Regards,
Bobby Jo

Dearest H2S,

If I said that "Mystery Babylon" was AUSTRALIA! Would you challenge me? And would you expect MORE than an ASSERTION?

So too this CULT asserts that the Dan. 2 Empire of Clay (Divided Kingdom) consists of some mystical "coalition of the willing". And when I challenge them, they REFUSE. And when I provide a Scriptural and Historical explanation, they REJECT.

And of course, where Dan. 7 provides that delineation of this "Divided Kingdom", as substantiated by Scripture and History, they assert the Fulfillment is "SPIRITUAL".

So we're basically dealing with the SAME DISHONESTY in the "church" (actually a CULT) exactly as we see in Politics EVERYDAY. Their LIES are treated as TRUTHS, and our TRUTHS are treated as LIES.

But we're not to be discouraged or dissuaded, because:

Matt. 15:13 ...“Every plant which my heavenly Father has not planted will be rooted up. 14 Let them alone; they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”

With VERY Best Regards!
Bobby Jo :)

To All,

It never ceases to amaze me that people who profess "expertise" can't even resolve the most simple of concepts. It takes me back to Newton who readily discounted the patently FALSE "seven and sixty-two", as though it took a half a brain to figure out that NO WHERE in Scripture or any Society is there ANY PRECEDENT where numbers* are summed in such a fashion; and that if GOD had intended to say "sixty-nine", HE would have simply said "sixty-nine".

* Four Score and Ten; a Dozen and a Half; a Mile and a Quarter; and a CUP and 2/3rds; ARE ALL PROPER INCREMENTS. -- But Newton observed that "seven and sixty-two" does "VIOLENCE" to Scripture.

Scripture is so simple, but some FALSE DOCTRINES supersede ALL CREATION, -- and Rational Thinking along with the History of Mankind are simply "inconveniences" to be brushed aside.

And it's difficult for me ( - actually it isn't - ) to determine whether people are gullible, simple, silly, -- or "naive" (I'd prefer to say "stupid", but that term is MOST STRONGLY DISCOURAGED at the HIGHEST LEVELS of DEMONSTRATED CHRISTIANITY -- and so I join those sentiments and ADAMANTLY REFUSE to use that term UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES).

So if I had an opinion as to what Scripture defined as the FOUR BEASTS of Revelation 13, I'd quickly reference Dan. 2:45; then Dan. 7; and then Modern History; and finally a teaspoon of geography.

But then again, maybe ignorance is more fun ...
Bobby Jo
