Where is He?

Jesus is the hero of Old Testament promises and the hope for all who have seen this, yet looking at the multitude of topics and discussion on this forum it appears that few know him. If they did the conversations would reflect his beauty and give encouragement and hope to the least.

Christians are truly divided. Every church claims to be the true church, saying, Join us and be saved, for there is no other true church out there except us. They just keep on fighting, and I can't even see unity and love in CB as well. The members are more interested in debates, to the point that almost all thread turns into a debate, and all that happens is constant arguing. Why can't they just unite to worship God instead of engaging in these fruitless arguments? What do they even gain from winning a debate, vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another? Please, just let go of the ego.

Many Christians prefer to preach damnation rather than hope they want to use fear to bring people to God which doesn't work.The Gospel is a Gospel of hope because we were all condemned in the fall.Jesus made his sacrifice so we can be raised up at death but thats not enough for some they want much more.Its the greatest gift you will ever receive how can you ask for more.The focus should always be the sacrifice he made so our sins are forgiven which doesn't happen until you face him.You have a whole life time to complete.Many will be turned away who think they are saved by Jesus own words.

Many lack understanding of how to war against the flesh. That, and lack of a prayer life. Prayer does so much to help in the spiritual walk, and without that you're not going to be as fruitful.

Could the problem be that our attention is directed at ourselves and our doings....with the word 'should' forever in our consciousness?
