No. Pride is the mindset that you are superior to and more important than other people. And it is a far more dangerous sin than masturbation.Yes, that exactly. Pride.

No. Pride is the mindset that you are superior to and more important than other people. And it is a far more dangerous sin than masturbation.Yes, that exactly. Pride.
Oh? Then how is it defined? BIBLICALLY, if you can...
Marriage should be built on love, honor, and respect by a man and woman who are rooted and grounded firmly in Christ.Yes. I was just thinking of getting married as a way to become a better person and learn new things that I may miss otherwise.
Because singledom seems to make me really lazy.
And if it's not enough, masturbation is also dangerous for the health, especially mental health.No. Pride is the mindset that you are superior to other people. And it is a far more dangerous sin than masturbation.
Pride is dangerous to the spiritual health. And if it's is not enough, masturbation is also dangerous for the health, especially mental health.
Meaning...?"...and the two will become one flesh.” Ephesians 5:31
Which is also true.Pride is dangerous to the spiritual health.
No. It isn't. It all depends on the person. And if it's not enough, masturbation is also dangerous for the health, especially mental health.
Your association of masturbation with the sin of fornication was correct; your association of masturbation with pride was not. And your assertion that masturbation is associated with mental illness cannot be backed by data.Which is also true.
So, masturbation damages us mentally and spiritually.
Yes, it is.No. It isn't. It all depends on the person.
Then you admit it is sin?Your association of masturbation with the sin of fornication was correct
You're talking about pornography; not necessarily masturbation, in of itself.Yes, it is.
It causes addiction, guilt, withdrawal from God and alteration of reality.
I don't care if it is or not. That isn't the point. Then you admit it is sin?
Masturbation...fornication...adultery...Your association of masturbation with the sin of fornication was correct; your association of masturbation with pride was not. And your assertion that masturbation is associated with mental illness cannot be backed by data.
Pride is the mindset that one is superior to and more important than other people. I want you to think about that definition. And I want you to look at how you described other people in your church, women, your countrymen, et. al. in some of your earlier posts.
Masturbation involves mental pornography. You're talking about pornography; not necessarily masturbation, in of itself.
And what do you think it could mean then? Walking with the hands?Masturbation...fornication...adultery...
My my, how the meaning of some words has changed over so many centuries! Only about 100 years ago did the word "gay" mean "happy"; and had nothing to do with homosexuality!
Isn't it possible that a word such as "fornication" could have meant something other than what we THINK it means today?
I want to tiptoe carefully around this one. Jesus talked about men looking at women with lust in their hearts and equating it with physical adultery. (You women get off scot-free, apparently). Do mental images count? I suppose it could be done without photographs and without mental imagery; would it still be sinful? Feel free to decline to answer if the question makes you uncomfortable. You're talking about pornography; not necessarily masturbation, in of itself.
This one?Thank you. What are your thoughts on my post prior to that?
I hear what you're saying. Oftentimes, she still loves him and shooting him isn't in her heart and it may be an even worse grief to take his life.
Well, based on just what you've shared here I don't see any marital obligation at play here, and certainly no emotional attachment. In western society this is criminal, not cultural. I would think there would be no problem separating AND divorcing in this situation since no mutual voluntary oath is binding the two together. The reason I pose these questions is because I know women (like myself) who are survivors of SRA/MK whose marriages were set up and arranged by cult so that they marry a cult handler. They are kept accessible to be used by the cult ...as well their children. So these are important questions to be addressed for those thousands of women who are in this situation.
Then I can't see the point in doing it.I want to tiptoe carefully around this one. Jesus talked about men looking at women with lust in their hearts. (You women get off scot-free, apparently). Do mental images count? I suppose it could be done without photographs and without mental imagery; would it still be sinful? Feel free to decline to answer if the question makes you uncomfortable.
SEX!Meaning...?
