Hi BG, are you jealous of your husband shorts....... (smile) ,,,, LOL. ..... Just kidding. hope the weather be fine, so that he can ware them more often.Dull and cloudy... but perfect for laying the sod on grand daughters back yard :)
Now rain will be a blessing ...it feels more like autumn here than summer.
My husbands usually wears shorts all summer...this summer he has only worn them about once a week this year.
Look, glad to hear that the sod profect went well, don't worry the rain will come.
we're in the heat or middle of our summer, aug. is our hottest month. so far so good, on the heat and hurricanes.
so hang in there, all will be well.

We had a couple of days of good rain in northern Oklahoma, very heavy for August, but today and tomorrow it will exceed 100 F by a couple of degrees. Heat warning in effect for youngsters, animals and old folks. I qualify for that last group.
Well, we had a lot of rain a few days ago,,,, but now every thing is so dry ,
you not believe we had so much rain...... just to funny ,,, do not understand how
that could be since we have not had over the 80's in temp. we usually have
a few day's in the 90's and I do not remember having any this year!

well, we're in the wet dry cycle, but now it's in reverse. this time of the year it's sun in the morning and day, with rain in the evening and at night. but it's now rain in the morning, and sun in the evening. different but ok. this is keeping the temp under 100F, so that's ok.
