What's the weather like where you are?

My parents came here a year after us, in 1976.
Back in England my mother had dreadful arthritis ( or something) ..but over here she seemed about 20 years younger and could walk and climb over fences and things well into her 8o's.
Sadly she broke her arm in her 80's and it took a couple of months to heal.
But by then her arms were weak and she 'forgot' how to push herself up out of a chair. So she lost her legs because of the broken arm.

But although in a wheelchair, she lived until she was 99.
So she ' just missed' her 100th birthday letter from the Queen.

Great tribute; your immediate family is evidently long-lived...:)

....This photo doesn't show how strong the wind is...the tress show it a bit...I can hear the wind beating on the roof..... as I write this I can no longer see the trees now, which are in this photo taken only 30mins ago!!
The snow is coming fast and a white-out right now.

Today had a bit of snow in BC and Alberta.

Since I posted that photo we have had ( having..it hasn't stopped) heavy and fast snow...hubby cleared it, but already its about 4" deep AGAIN, we had about 6" in 20 mins.
The wind is howling. Dave said that there are wreaks everywhere...and the highway south is blocked. / closed. I was not expecting this!!!

Its about 70 . . . the sun is about to set in a clear sky . . . a tiny little breeze . . . >sigh!<

My daughter just drove home from my grand daughters house ..a 15 min drive...she texted that she saw THIRTY cars abandoned in snow drifts between Lisa's house and her house!!! And that didn't even happen in our WINTER snows!!!

Yesterday was a bright and dry spring day.

We are supposed to get rain at 2 this afternoon...... so I guess all the grandchildren's games
and or practices will be cancelled !
They all enjoy these games, so wonder what they will be doing ?

Well,,,, the rain started even earlier then it was supposed to........... and it seems like its going
to last till about eight tonight....... we did have sun yesterday. But the last few weeks we have
had a lot of rain....... I guess the song is right........... "April showers !"

Today a bit chilly here...but no more falling snow.
But we do now have lots of snow on the ground. ( not roads)

YES, hoping that this brings the "spring flowers" :)

Of course, for you guys in Europe it's already been dark for hours...

Here it's been so noticeable that while all the snow may have melted locally, yet even on slightly higher ground there have still been some snow remnants.

I can look out of my window and see lots of snow on the tops of the mountains
Pretty when the sun shines on them. :)
