Great tribute; your immediate family is evidently long-lived...:)My parents came here a year after us, in 1976.
Back in England my mother had dreadful arthritis ( or something) ..but over here she seemed about 20 years younger and could walk and climb over fences and things well into her 8o's.
Sadly she broke her arm in her 80's and it took a couple of months to heal.
But by then her arms were weak and she 'forgot' how to push herself up out of a chair. So she lost her legs because of the broken arm.
But although in a wheelchair, she lived until she was 99.
So she ' just missed' her 100th birthday letter from the Queen.
