This is a showing of how people would lose faith and become unbelieving as the times had become closer when Jesus would return, this is why he says this parable to them in that day and time. There would be people who were late to the party because they were busy doing other things and not gathering the spirit, and faithfully coming to God in and through Christ because they were to busy “attending the Pharisees demands” the reason this was because Jesus is fixing to be killed by his own people, and they would be people misleading them and they would not be ready for the return when it happened. When in my belief came at around 70Ad.
