As a writer I have been trained to ask the question, “What if ?” I carry this over to most things I think about. When I study the Bible, I often ask, “What if?”
In reasoning out why God does things, I come up with some strange results, that may, or may not be true. Let me give an example:
This Earth today is a very dangerous place, outside of men killing men, the Earth takes many thousands of human, and animal life. In our past history, the Earth was much more dangerous. According to the Bible, our Earth is only about six thousand years old. The world flood was around four thousand years ago. I believe this because the Bible says it. Many scientist also agree the flood was real. Archeologist have discovered many facts that prove modern day man was here with the dinosaurs. That brings up a question for me. “Why would God put the Garden on a planet that was so dangerous? Local floods, dinosaurs, Bugs that can kill, volcanoes, earth quakes, storms, etc?
Why would he not put the Garden on a planet without all those dangers? “What if,” he did? We call this planet, “Wilderness Earth.” Is this planet the Wilderness, Adam and Eve were thrust into? Was the Garden on some other planet? “What if?”
How do you reason on the Bible?
