Yup, you have the time zone right and today was a good day-for me.
To be able to share God's word and to glorify Jesus Christ and to have fellowship with other believers-well-one, two-maybe?

Psa_28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

Psa_30:9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

Psa_30:12
To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

Psa_33:1 ith the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.

Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.

Psa_34:1 A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.
I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Psa_35:18 I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people.

Psa_35:28
And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.

Shalom to you and our brother Amigo.

If you can be baptized then you should be baptized. But God is not unthinking and inflexible as to expect baptism if someone is incapable of doing so for whatever reason. God has ordained baptism, and that is the reason there is power in it....it's more than just symbolic....the bible says "first the natural then the spiritual". Baptism is an act in the spiritual realm performed at God's behest, which "seals" something in the spiritual realm.
I also believe and that is only my belief so far, that baptism is more than just symbolic, something happens after that in the spiritual realm and you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. I believe it's different if the Holy Spirit descended upon you than if it was dwelling IN you after baptism and that it's the reason why after the Holy Spirit descended on them, they still had to be baptised in water to receive the Holy Spirit to dwell IN them.
I believe also that it's vital to read the Word of God in order to be "born again" because the Word is "living and active" and I was taught the Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit so I found the Spirit doesn't only tell us other things not directly written in the bible but also everything in the bible which is living and active, dividing soul and spirit. Jesus called on us to repent and be baptized so why wouldn't we keep this instruction and command.
I'm not going to take a dogmatic stance on water baptism-John's baptism was from heaven-and if it stands written in Scriptures I'll gladly get myself baptized.
My 2 cents.
Some take it way too far in making water "Baptismal regeneration"
Shalom
J.
I hope what I wrote above would help you to get water baptized. It's important.

The longer I know you the more I appreciate you my brother-most of my fellow brothers and few sisters are gone-or strangely "silent" but with you I can be myself and not be pretentious.
This Forum will not be the same without you @amigo de christo and our Lord Jesus whom you dearly love.
You type faster than I can think Lol!
The Celestial City is awaiting and onward we go.

I hope you didn't think that I was laughing at you again Johann when you wrote that post of whether it was just you replying to a poster or you walking by the Spirit. I put a laughing emoji because I just thought it was funny bc I too at times have thought like that too. I believe though that the Holy Spirit gives us a good conscience to help, edify and love others.
And I want to share with everyone that I really feel that I am "born again" and that the Holy Spirit dwells IN me because I can never go back and be just like I was before when I didn't know God/Jesus and the bible. I feel the Holy Spirit at times absolutely prohibits me to do certain things that are wrong in His sight and I feel have told me things not directly written in the bible. Praise and glory be to God.

I dont' know all the 'mechanics' of it, but as the Lord gave me understanding one time, I believe baptism is a prophetic act in the natural realm that prepares the way for something in the spiritual realm. In this case the death of our old man and resurrection to life of the new man. Similar to how the Lord commanded the prophets to do enact things to prophetically depict something that was going to happen to Israel.....it has all the power of a prophetic word in the form of a living parable. I also think of baptism as the believer agreeing to and ratifying the covenant Jesus has brought us into......it's our consent and "I do" to His choosing us to be His bride. So there is something not complete until a believer has undergone water baptism....like a sentence without a period at the end of it, it's open ended until we put the period there. Baptism isn't what saves us in itself, but it is more important than many realize. Someone else typically baptizes another, because they are a witness to the other person's "I do." May the Lord give us understanding and revelation of these things.

Blessings in Christ Jesus Lizbeth! I will share with you, when The Lord showed me concerning a true baptism. Many years ago a friend of mine who was a prison minister invited me and my room mate to a baptism of an inmate who just came to The Lord. This baptism would be in a river at a park. When we got to the meeting place it was decided how we all were going to the park. For me they decided that I would ride on the back of a motorcycle. When I got on the back I was actually a little scared, as it had been many years since I was on one. But then I heard, "My son, I have not given you a spirit of fear" From that moment on, I was not afraid. When we all got to the park we all walked down to the river. We were now waiting for the young man who was to be baptized. As I stood there on the bank of the river I could perceive The Presence of The Lord above the river. It was then they brought the young man down into the water. I could here my friend explaining to the young man about salvation and baptism. I then saw the young man go down into the water, and come up again. I knew that this man was now clean, and that he was not alone, as his eyes had changed. He was in total joy. I knew that from this moment forward his journey with Lord had begun. Also, as I looked at this man, I could see that his girlfriend would be a hinderence to his journey. Now this is something I will never forget. On the way back we stopped at a red light. This young man was in the back seat of a car. I saw him roll down the back window of the car and he turned and looked at me on the back of the bike. It was like The Lord(The Holy Spirit)in him, took the time to look and smile, face to face, eyes to eyes. At this, I was in The Spirit instantly. I do not bring a doctrine of Baptism, so that it can be argued, but sometimes I bring a testimony of what I have seen and what I have heard. Blessings!

It's a wonderful testimony brother. :) I also testify, of what the Lord has been gracious to give me in hopes it will encourage or inspire those who need to be baptized. When the eunuch said, look there is water, what doth hinder me from being baptized....this was written because there are things that sometimes will hinder folks from being baptized. In my case I was initially hindered because I was suspicious of anything that appeared to be ritualistic...because of coming from a Catholic background.

Precious friend, yes, it is good to be suspicious of rituals, even OT rituals brought over into religions.
My learning came after Many years, first catholicism, then reformed, and finally baptist, traditions.
Result?:

God Is Gracious, He Led me to His Word Of Truth, Rightly Divided, where I found out about His:

ONE ( Spiritual ) Baptism For the Body Of Christ, today, solving all my suspicions/Confusion.

Please Be Very RICHLY Encouraged, Enlightened, Exhorted, And Edified In
The LORD JESUS CHRIST, And In His Word Of Truth, Rightly
Divided!

Grace, Peace, And JOY!…

Amen.

Amen. And water baptism is a picture/parable word of that spiritual baptism. It speaks "without a word" but with a prophetic living picture. I think of it as Jesus has entered into covenant with us and having been awakened to it, we now need to give our consent to that. Only one signature on the wedding register is kind of leaving things short.
