But seriously in a former life I could turn vegetables into bacon, just kidding:

We had one of those chickens from Walmart with a chef salad and McDonald's fries. My daughter... I tell you she just wants to live on peanut butter sandwiches. But at least peanut butter and whole wheat bread is healthy at least. I'm trying to encourage her to eat different things. At school she does pretty well, I'm just not much of a cook honestly.
My brother came to visit when my oldest 3 were little. We took him out to eat and he marveled when my oldest son (then, about 2 yrs old) turned down a cookie over raw broccoli. lol

Toast some whole grain bread, butter it with real butter and slather it with real peanut butter+raw honey ...add in a little molasses (for iron and richness) ....you could even add in some nutritional yeast into the PB+honey and they won't even know they're getting extra B-vitamins. lol

It's a good quick breakfast or lunch with some apple slices and milk.

My middle daughter is married now and still loves to eat that. lol

Well of course she does. It’s one of her comfort foods because mama used to make it for her. :)

Mine, too.

Mine has food texture aversion. I am working my best around it along with a Flinstones daily and getting her off gluten and getting REALLY creative to sneak vegetables and alternative into everything I can.

And this lentil flax bread was a total fail. It came out like pudding. Lol I'll try again tomorrow. I don't think I did it right. I'm pretty sure I messed it up, actually.

Edit: kale chips have been a total win for her though!

Praise God for Flintstone vitamins! We must be doing something right though. Doctor said she is healthy as can be, so that is encouraging. My son has been sick a lot this year, but my daughter was too that first year and now she never gets sick. I think it is because of preschool. I don't get sick anymore either. LOL

Maybe you left too much water in and on the lentils.
Put it in a bowl with some fruit and whipped cream and tell her it’s pudding. Lol

Good idea!!!! I might try that!!!! Buy whipped cream. The girl would live on ice cream if I let her. Need to hide some frozen peas in it or something. LOL

Haha! She won't touch fruit either.

One good win has been frozen banana blended with coconut milk. I added maybe a teaspoon of sugar. Comes out like ice cream!

Other than that she has a few healthy favorites: salmon cakes, popcorn, kale chips, granola, homemade (healthy) rice "ramen", plain yogurt, cranberry sauce, crunchy chickpeas, sometimes smoothies.

I suspect that once the yeast overgrowth dies down, she'll eat better. Sometimes they just crave that flour/yeast.

Had to sit write down all the healthy things she will eat.

Or get a carton of heavy whipping cream and whip up your own so you can control the sugar content. And a little vanilla extract makes it sweeter too.

@FluffyYellowDuck Shows that what one likes and what one wants can be vastly different...
