Lol yes it's very hard. So sweet of your oldest to get a machine.

@SERVANTedu has been looking around, but they are not cheap.

The hardest part is some chores triggers my BVVP. (Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo) So I got a couple of loads done but now I'm nauseated and feeling sick. And when I take the Dramamine it will make me sleep. Then nothing else will get done.
@DuckieLady
Have you looked on Facebook Marketplace? I just got a great couch, loveseat. 2 end tables and a coffee table all for 500 dollars, they are very lightly used. You can usually negotiate the delivery.
I wish you well.

We don't have FB, but I have been called and asked to come in early, so I have extra hours. Lol

I'm not feeling well because of my vertigo, but I'm going to push through today.

I should mention, I'm pretty much on an island but instead of an island surrounded by water, it's like an island surrounded by miles and miles and miles and miles of not a whole lot.

Today will be good though- I can feel it. I will wear Frankincense to help my dizziness and take a 40 oz mug of tea to help my nausea. It will be cool.

Sister @DuckieLady, have you ever tried praying over your washing machine? I have done this once or twice, and the first time, God showed me that the electrical panel in the front of the machine had gotten damp or moist, so I undid the front panel and used a blow dryer to dry it out, closed up the panel, and it started again. Another time, he just healed it as I laid hands on the machine and asked God to heal it in Jesus name, and it was healed! Lol!

No, but only because I don't actually have one. I wash the clothes by hand in the sink or bath and then I run it the a hand crank wringer and then they either go in a portable standing dryer or outside on the lines.

But I'll use my extra hours to put towards a new one in a couple weeks. Now I'm excited.

That's sort of what I did. I hate going to laundromats! When I moved in here and inherited this house when my Dad passed, it had a washer hook up but not dryer. I didn't own either anymore so I went to a 2nd hand appliance store and picked some out. Now I always expect to have problems with used equipment and sure enough, as soon I hooked up the washer it started leaking so I was back on that phone fast saying hey come fix it now, it should at least be water tight in the water lines, lol!

That poor guy and his little shop. He had to make 3 trips out to fix it! He wouldn'r buy new parts! But he did and I was impressed. It's been working good and leak free for almost 6 or 7 years now? Not bad for $150 bucks for the pair. Not a true pair, just two white ones that worked.

Once I cut into the drain line and put in a proper trap which only took me about 35 minutes because that's what I do, or did, lol.
hate not the laundromats . THEY are a nest egg for evanglising .
I have no desire now to buy a new washer to wash at home .
THEM places have the lost all within them and they need to hear of CHRIST
and all biblical reminders . have the joy of the LORD wherever you go and in whatever you do .
THERE IS always someone who needs to hear of Christ , or brethern who need to be reminded and encouraged .
THE CHURCHES sure as heck aint doing it . most of them DECIEVE and fleece the flocks .
We have a mission and our mission can be in any place and any location . even at the park
or at the work place , or while washing clothes , or at the store shopping . YOU TURN IT INTO A HONOR THE LORD
event and let that LIGHT SO SHINE BEFORE ALL . i was just encouraged by that reminder myself even as i gave it .
WE ON A MISSION my friend .

I never thought about it like that but I guess you're right! I'd have to agree. I bought a case of 40 bibles and still have like, 35 left!

But my truck wont start when it's cold and it's too far to walk, lol. I just tuned it up and changed the oil this last summer. So I have to stay home again, It'll run in spring time.

I heard a pastor say that once. He said the best place to evangelize was the laundry mat because they can't leave. hlf
