I think you are introducing some RCC contrived philosophy into this. There is no indication in the whole rest of he NT that there is any "high priest" of the church other than Jesus Christ. And throughout the entire Bible, the "rock", when not referring to the mineral material, nearly always refers to the divine being of God.

While there are a number of theological issues on which I could contend with the RCC, the most serious one is the inappropriate formation of the earthly "governing body" that the RCC has imposed upon the church of Jesus Christ. There are no popes, no cardinals, no priests, and no RCC variety of bishops in the body of the New Covenant believers in the NT.

Just my thoughts.
Understood. I'm not buying into papal authority by any means. But Peter certainly was given "the keys." My skepticism turns on the assignment and reassignment and re-reassignment etc. of those keys to and by his successors in the bishopric of Rome. There are a lot of perspectives on this. A recent one provides a great summary (attached).

There was a man without a wedding garment on at the wedding that was cast into outer darkness.

When we are baptized into Christ, we have put on Christ.

Scary stuff to think we have the wedding garment on without being baptized in the groom’s name.

You are in error!! Your opinion is just that...an opinion. Most professing Christians like you do not understand Bible doctrines nor it's interpretations, and thereby come away with incorrect interpretations.
In the Old Testament, the norm for the Jews for their atonement of sins were animal sacrifices.
However, the efficacy of the cross goes all the way back from the beginning. In fact, before the foundation of the world as we read in Revelation 13:8-9....
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.

So we learn from Scriptures that the thief at the cross did not have to be baptize with water because right in front of us our great Savior is in progress to save him.

Those who want to teach must also learn how to be taught or they will fall under the warning of Hosea 4:6.

Are their garments cleansed by the Blood of Jesus... or by being dunked in water?

Which is more powerful, the Blood of Jesus or H2O ???

The name of Jesus, while being immersed in water is the power.

Neither of your questions are worthy questions. They make a mockery of God's teaching.

Baptism is the time in the life of the repentant believer when God "cleanses the garments". That is the occasion when God forgives the sins of the repentant believer and gives him the gift of the Holy Spirit. It is the instant time when the lost sinner is forgiven and he becomes a saved child of God. It is the instant when he is born again, when, though he was once dead in trespasses and sins, he is made alive again to walk in the newness of life.

…. and that is exactly how you do away with baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.

Acts chapter 2.

God gives holy spirit to some people, both sons and daughters.
To prophesy is to teach.

Shepherds are teachers.

1 Corinthians chapter 2.

Many people have spirit of stupor. Those who are carnal minded have spirit of error.

Only few have holy spirit.

Romans chapter 11.

Israel didn't obtain whats it seeks, but the election obtained it, rest were blinded.

God's election have holy spirit.

Many people have spirit of stupor.

Shepherds are still to plant seeds for God. Whether they have spirit of stupor or holy spirit.

Jesus might germinate those seeds.

It's up to Jesus, if someone is spirtualty blind or has holy spirit.

Someone can have spirit of stupor. Then 10 years later they have spirit of truth. Only Jesus can germinate those seeds.

There's time coming. When satan as antichrist comes 6th trump to Jerusalem.

People will either have seal of God or mark of beast.

Those who have mark are biblically illiterate, spirtualty dead.

Those who have seal of God, have holy spirit.

You have done that with your Zwingliism.
No, I just go back to the original. I don’t trust modern theologians with my salvation.
I have a Bible that tells me how to be saved… They said Peter and the rest of the apostles, men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said under them, repent to be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins…

This is for everybody. This is what you shall do. If you shall not do this, you shall keep your sins.

I haven't denied any of that. Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is when God forgives your sins and gives you the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Awesome post. I am glad that you agree that water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is when God forgives your sins.

You don't get to Christ without baptism. Part of the sin cleansing process...just like repentance.
Yes, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is how you get(put on) Christ. Perfect post.

The Bible says nothing about...being dunked in water...whatever that means.
This is not in the Bible?…

Then Peter said, under them, repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins…

The Bible says nothing about...being dunked in water...whatever that means.
Psa 106:9 He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
Psa 106:10 And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
Psa 106:11 And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.

1Co_10:2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

2Pe_3:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

2Ki_5:14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

Joh_3:23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

Act_8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

Act 8:39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
