I'm not supporting him BECAUSE I think he is a Christian!
I am supporting him because I SAW exactly thing that he spoke out about when he was running to be a Candidate and continues to speak out about and oppose!
I know which way the wind is blowing, do you?
Well that's ok then - only time and history will convey the reality of how well any leader does things.

Yes, i understand.
However those who come in defence of him don't really know him personally either - so are we not all making assumptions about him and building up opinions

Correct, I do not know him personally, But wish I did. I would love to sit with him over a cup of coffee and shoot the breeze in the same manner I do with anyone else....except a career Politican.

Still wondering how you arrive at your conclusions.

Glory to God,

I just don't the man from what I have seen and heard of him on my TV screen. And one of the things I don't like is that he claims to be a Christian but doesn't act like one. He'd be in his element on this site.

What defines for you what a Christian should "act like"?

Ok, just heard that President Trump is looking forward to seeing his friends, Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage - oh boy !!
The latter two lied in order to get most people to vote for brexit, i prayerfully considered how to vote - so I went with that vote, but I have little respect for either of these leaders. So how are they viewed in the US ?

You are in the UK. Christianity is faltering there badly, and the UK is desperately taken over by the socialist left.

I have already conveyed that my views are not based on him as a political leader. Surely you have opinions about people in the public eye, some people you are attracted to , but some people you simply do not like - it's more to do with intuition, attraction, likes , dislikes ect. I didn't say I was right to feel the way I do.x

He is the President who is under ATTACK since he became a candidate. Do you expect him to not try to try to get cooperation from the politicians globally?????????
He is in a no win situation with you, if he criticized them , you would attack him for not showing Christian love--oh boy!!

People are hypocritical. They apply one standard to President Trump and another to other politicians and past presidents. All this negativity and judgmentment foisted upon the POTUS because of the polluted Trump-derangement syndrome infected media that has been carrying on this unprecedented circus.
God laughs btw!

But you also have formed your own opinions. We all do it with the information we have but obviously seeing that info in a different light.

Yes, I have formed my opinions and given specific examples of his behavior that influences my opinions.

I don't know that We ALL do that. Some simply Agree with ANYONE else with a "D" emblazoned on their forehead....and Some can provide their own Reasoning for their own Opinions....which is all I have asked of you...
But you have yet to give any reasoning or examples of WHY your opinions are such as they are.

Just saying, people make claims...
He's a liar...ABOUT WHAT exactly?
He's not Christian like...According to WHAT Standard?
He likes beautiful women...is that unbiblical?

Just saying, I can't put much credence in simple claims with no valid reasoning to support the claim.

Why is it that so many people want President Trump to speak nastily of other world leaders, and for him to declare them his enemies?

All of us "so-called" Christians are always posting that the Bible tells us to get along with others as well as we can, and to speak well of others. But, it seems so many want him to declare others evil, and to speak bad of them. (All the while, going out of their way to make sure everyone knows they believe he is no Christian.)

You are really reading my posts wrongly - I wasn't judging Trump, I was judging the other two, and asking how they are perceived in the US
I have said all along that I cannot judge him as leader - so stop accusing me of things I am not saying!
History does reveal things, good things as well as bad- that is when the world will see his leadership in context , as it has done with all other leaders around the world. I was just stating a fact in general.

If that is based on what I posted, then you were also mis interpreting what I had written. When did I say I wanted trump to say nasty things about others?
Never mind - I will just withdraw and if people want to ' presume ' things from my words, so be it x

People are hypocritical. They apply one standard to President Trump and another to other politicians and past presidents.

And themselves, family members and friends!

In one respect people EXPECT a perfect god-like figure for a President, while EXPECTING him to not notice people EXPECT him to BE a perfect god-like figure....Whereas Career Politicians, who think THEY ARE ENTITLED to sit in a leadership position, BANK on the People treating them as - gods -.

I don't mind opinions of criticism...
But don't lend much consideration to the opinions, when they can not divulge WHY.

What do your words say? They seem to say that you feel he should not consider these two "his friends." How are people supposed to talk and settle world matters if they openly declare the others enemies first?

"His friends" .... Judging those others but there was the implied insinuation of guilt by association upon Trump once again. It is the constant tactic we see in the media. No matter what he says or does it's the same. If he says he had a nice conversation with Nancy Pelosi , instead of if being reported that he is making attempts to reach across the aisle , they will say he is compromising his principles, or being dishonest or giving fake news, or he's submitting to the democrats.
He can't win with his denouncers.

That wasn't what I was implying , and it still doesn't convey that I wanted Trump to be nasty- it's the press here that has set that headline, a bit of that ' propaganda ' we keep talking about. They are putting the three together to manipulate the brexit issue. My comments were aimed at Farage and Johnson, and I was genuinely asking how they are viewed over in the US

Sure I have opinions about people...
The question was not WHY do you have opinions, but rather, WHAT specifically is "your reasoning" for your Opinion about Trump?

Perhaps it is Trump's Manner of Speaking, of course I am guessing, because you have not said how you arrived at your Opinion of Trump.

For example;
I am more attracted to Listening to a person speak the TRUTH in a brash Manner....
Then to listen to a person speak a Circle Jerk of LIES through their perfectly veneered Teeth and Soft Toned Voice.

And with consideration, I have seen Trump engage with others that they themselves begin with being Respectful, and he recopicate the Same to them.

Exactly, people are speaking out of both sides of their mouths. ;)
