Then I might suggest reading the New Testament, it's more uplifting with Jesus in it :)Sorry but I'm relatively new to Christianity and the Bible.

Paul struggled with this same problem as everyone does.(Rom. 7) It is a war between the flesh and the spirit.I sometimes think I am better off dead. I don't mean to attract sympathy by saying that or to be controversial.
I just feel despairing of avoiding sin. It's impossible to lead a sinless life. Even with God's grace.
To live is to sin is my conclusion. To want to live is to sin even. Why do I want to live? To achieve ambitious goals? To seek entertainment and pleasure? Even to gain status by showing others how I've discovered the truth in Jesus Christ? To prove my superior intellect? To trade insults with people online?
The list goes on. Life is the battleground of Satan versus Jesus in our hearts. And Satan at least wins some of the time. Once we are dead, the struggle ceases. No more conflict. No more opportunities to sin. Peace.

Give God the glory my friend! He alone is always worthy! That's inspirational.
You have to start where you are as we all had to do. There are lots of scriptures giving us details, but the verse from which @Nancy quote a few words above is an excellent starting place as well as an explanation of what you should continue to seek...Sorry but I'm relatively new to Christianity and the Bible.
don't you see you just said that God is a liarIt's impossible to lead a sinless life. Even with God's grace.
I have helped the homeless a lot and the mentally ill (sick), I get a lot of peace and love from the Holy Spirit from that, see Galatians 5:22-25.
You think the Pope doesn't sin?don't you see you just said that God is a liar
for it is written
For with God nothing shall be impossible.
You think the Pope doesn't sin?
The saints never sin?
Mother Teresa?
Even you sin sir, or is it madam?
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;You think the Pope doesn't sin?
The saints never sin?
Mother Teresa?
Even you sin sir, or is it madam?

Most likely through suffering
Paul struggled with this same problem as everyone does.(Rom. 7)

Same here @saintiaintI always aim for humility. Not that it works every time.
If you have truly obeyed Acts 2:38, you are free from sin. Meaning you can resist and win. Meaning, you MUST resist.I sometimes think I am better off dead. I don't mean to attract sympathy by saying that or to be controversial.

No he did not. He was describing the state of a person in the flesh; for in Romans 8 he gives the remedy to the situation in Romans 7:
Romans 8:9
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Contrast with:
Romans 7:5
For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members
The quiet shy person can actually be someone with a lot of defensive pride.I once thought I was naturally humble because of shyness...
Well, you are among some who believe that we do not still have the flesh
Are you just a spirit floating Around?
nevertheless we still do sin
"If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us." 1 John 1:8
Think about that, flip it around.
Why do you ask someone who knows you of they think you are perfect in every way?
We are living in the already but not yet realm.
We have not been redeemed yet, but we exist in eternity as it has already happened - spiritually. And as if our flesh died
CHRIST died for all our sins, meaning past present and future sins - sins you haven't committed yet.
We have a dual nature until we die. THEN you will be perfect.
