I actually define Freedom this way: - Freedom is the consequence of being in a right relationship with God.

What I had stated above is what people believe Freedom is. Your definition is that Freedom is the ability to do that which one ought to do. I would suggest to you that what you are describing is liberties which are prescribed by the laws that result from the governance of the people.

People believe that they have "Rights," but what they enjoy is liberty where the boundary conditions are prescribed by the statutes of the Land. For example, a person can drive a car as long as that person complies with the laws associated with the processes of driving. It is not a right to drive but it is a privilege to drive a motor car allowed to us by the liberties embedded within our respective legal systems.

What we are experiencing at the moment in the world is anarchy, pure and simply.

I think of socialism as communism and the state owns you, your personal freedom and privacy is gone. They may feed, house and give you some stuff, but the price is they own you body and soul and they expect your allegiance. The state can also use and dispose of you as they see fit.

They been cheating at the voting booth for decades. We just don't like to admit it when our side wins, whichever side that is.
The Democrats accused Trump of cheating in 2016. Were they wrong? They called him an illegitimate president.
But in 2020 there is evidence that cheating occured and it was caught on video all over the place.
The fact that other people besides the states legislatures changed the rules to drop boxes and days to count votes and ballots with illegible signatures and no ID's required.. I could go on and on.
What it did do was to bring awareness to the fact that both sides been duping us at the polls for a long time and now it's time to stop that.
If our votes don't count we don't have a country let alone a democracy.
There is a reason why the 2020 election was allowed to be stolen. So the corruption behind ALL elections could be discovered.
People are more aware now. Eyes on everywhere. And maybe at some point we will have legitimate elections.
The thing is not to take sides about it because both sides do it. The thing is to stop it from happening again.
One way to do it would to be remove campaign financing. It's always about the money. And who is funding who.
