This video: talking about the lawsuit, talking to some individuals on the street about the commandments and witnessing to them of Christ.

The saddest part of the video is Jimmy Kimmel mocking the ten commandments and the audience laughing about it! (Parts of Kimmel's monologue were removed by the Christian videographer.)

Btw, the pride flag, etc, can be displayed in the schools...but not the ten commandments. Crazy world...no wonder there are so many mass shootings in the USA.

Personally I am kind of glad that the commandments are getting kicked out of schools and we can't have nativity scenes in public places etc.

Maybe that way, if the world removes all the props the church in America uses to hold itself up, we will focus more on Jesus and drawing closer to Him instead of props!

When I was a kid, we had the Lord's prayer every morning over the intercom. We bowed our heads, because we were taught that. Pastors came to our school and preached at assembles. We all were good kids and grew up in the Woodstock generation. No one shot each other, and there were lots of concerts in the 70's and it was all peaceful. My point: the culture changed when all that was taken out of school.

So instead we let the schools continue to brainwash the children and teenagers about the LBGQT agenda. Books on such topics and transgendering are even being put into schools for very young children.

Displaying the ten commandments as a historical document in the schools....if it helps even just some children to not become mass shooters, that is good.

I remember the Lord's Prayer before classes and I think a brief Bible verse, too.

And the worst thing we had then at the high school was a few kids smoking cigarettes behind the school between classes!

Neurosurgeon Ben Carson. Midway through the video he talks about how Communism said they would overthrow the USA.... happening today.

Latter part of the video he shares his testimony about being a violent, angry youth and finding a Bible which changed him.

You want to make claims Wrangler but then deny responsibility for their fallout.
Asking questions is not making claims.

It is going to happen whether we put up a stink or not. If we really want to affect change in america, instead of putting the ten commandments in schools, let us win the souls and hearts of the people and then we can put them up and much more with the consent of nearly all!

Have we sunk so low we try to sneak the ten commandments in as a "historical document" in hopes someone might be stirred?

Yes those were the good old days! But they are gone forever. America has become an anti-Christian nation. We need to be about glorifying God and sharing the gospel to bring in the rest of the harvest before the full judgment of God against this nation is poured out!

Well since the Fall, there has always been people who have not had it so good. But generally speaking, America was a very prosperous land and more people had more goods and life was more moral and religious.

I hear what you are saying, nevertheless the figure of the slaughter of 100 million indigenous Nth Americans has me wondering about language we use so glibly.

Australian are ya?

Before you point across the water with that criticism, pay attention to what your country has done to the indigenous people there.

Why hear what I have said as an attack? The history of all the Nations is abysmal including that of Oz.
When we talk about 'the good old days' we have a very limited view of 'old days' yet when we expand our perspective we discover the old days were not so good......unless of course we live in a sheltered and limited bubble.

We were talking about a particular time in history. A time when we had the Lord's Prayer and a brief Bible verse allowed in public schools. And no mass shootings or violent crime by youths.

So it was the good old days to us.

That's your hearing that reflects upon your intent when you posted.

Your contempt for Americans is pathetic.

You before have made blanket implications against America in threads that avail you that opportunity.

Now you make again an observation regarding our indigenous people when it has not a thing to do with this thread.
All the while forgetting the deplorable savage history of what was first an island penal colony turned nation, and the slaughter and subjugation of the Aboriginal peoples there so as to make it one.

Stick to the thread topics. Keep your bigoted anti-America hatred to yourself.

It makes you look in need of Salvation.

The bubble we're discussing here is very specific. Obviously it is not something an OZ citizen knows.
