"accepted Christ's redemption," i mean, what does that even mean? Have you gone to a church and professed? Got baptized? Were the titles spoken over your baptism, or not? Have you received the baptism of the Holy Spirit? Taken your first communion? See, the religious have laws that you have to follow, in order to come to Jesus, Jesus cannot just like come to you because you have called on Him or whatever, your sins are not washed away until some Ordained Guy gives you the nod, see. They do accept credit cards now, i guess, if that helps any :)

I left it for another while and came back for a look and its the same old garbage being regurgtated in here year after year. Little or nothing in here that will be keeped in the kingdon/ all of the garbage being spewd in here will be consumed and gone. First post i read is all you giving advice and recommending a couple go get councilling. Its like you know nothing of Christ. Soon as you read this it will be the same self serving hurting people patting each others backs with a big there there there. He will wipe away every tear. They will mostly be tears of regret for lack of knowledge or a willing to listen ear. There probly 5 in here with an ear to hear. You are all leading each other into a ditch again and again. Every one of you in here are standing in defiance as one who are able to teach. More tears of reget that Christ wil wipe away. I am sure He will wipe away my =tears aswell. It could mean any or all or none of those according to what is in our heart for God to see. I could personally pick and choose among your choices. I could add in the need to speak in an unknown tongue like me. God sees what people see, but God also understands exactly what is behind what they see. For me it comes back to:

"Where there is no vision, the people perish:..." Prov 29:18
We must have a vision, but what is it that God is expecting us to see? Consider what David wrote:

"How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
"When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek." Psalm 27:8

So what is it that we should be looking to see. What does His face look like?

"If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

See, God's forgiveness was never in doubt; sin is not imputed.

Nonetheless, Adam and Eve were not able to accept this forgiveness; they needed a skin.
God did not need for them to have a skin, iow; they needed the skin.

They recognized their need, but their own covering of figs was inadequate. They did not really know what was needed as we without God's help also do not. God gave them something to tide them over until Jesus provided a better covering.

yes, but the point i hoped to make was that God did not need this, as is so often propounded in a church. Understanding this will of course cause some CogDis @ "Christ's sacrifice," if one has been led to believe that God cannot tolerate sin or whatever, the usual sermon iow. A really bad doctrine, that can only lead to hyper-grace or similar heresies, imo

God wants to help all of us to come to the place where He wants us to be. Instead of following His lead, they make their own pathways and even their own leaders and forge ahead. It is supposedly easier that way, but not really...

HE is our sabbath rest. Not that you will agree

As for law. God created because He loved. He chastened Israel because He loved.
He sent His Son because He loved.
The only law He looks into our hear to see...is a reflection of His love.

Love began it, Love will finish it.

I am nothing other than someone who found out, that opposite to everything I had been told, Jesus is real and living....
I had assumed ( just after that ) that every person calling themselves a Christian, would have come from the same place, but to my confusion, that is not what I found.
I have had the honor of helping a couple of unbelievers to re-think their stance on Jesus, and by helping them to understand that He loves them more than they can imagine, some have gone onward to calling out to Him themselves...that, I believe is all any of us can really do...we certainly cannot save anyone, nor can any of us claim to know ALL the Truth.
Having said that, once saved and inhabited by The Holy Spirit, we can be used by the Lord to bring His Love, power, healing or whatever to others..But never by OUR power, only by His...

But surely that is the whole point? Doesn't the Bible tell us that even though the Law was perfect, no one could be made perfect by it, through their repentance each year ?? So why do people think they have to beg forgiveness every time they set a foot wrong? We are told that Christ died ONCE FOR ALL, no need to put Him on a cross daily so we can beg and grovel....He is NOT on the cross anymore, nor will He ever need to be again, but what we are lacking is the walking with Him daily imho....

i doubt we differ much in practice, tbh. These often come down to differences in semantics, like the "lean on Jesus" thing imo.
