They all are accomplished during the born again of the Spirit experience. That is why Jesus said that we MUST be born again.

Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Here is my understanding of the fulfillment of each of the six things listed in Daniel 9:24. I will list the scriptures that I believe refer to the fulfillment of each of them.

1. To Finish Transgression

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

Hebrews 9:15 That is why he is the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, so that all who are invited can receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them free from the penalty of the sins they had committed under that first covenant.

John 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

Romans 4:15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace".

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

2. To Put an End to Sin

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

1 John 3:5 And ye know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not.

2 Cor 5:21 For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: 24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Hebrews 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

3. To Make Reconciliation for Iniquity

Hebrews 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

2 Corinthians 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Colossians 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven

4. To Bring In Everlasting Righteousness

Matthew 3:15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Hebrews 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

5. To Seal Up the Vision and Prophecy

Luke 18:31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Matt 26:56 But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.

6. To Anoint The Most Holy

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Acts 4:27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel.

Only Jesus could fulfill those things. Without His death and resurrection, none of those things could be fulfilled. So, if your interpretation of the 70 week prophecy does not have Him being cut off (crucified) within the 70th week, it is a false doctrine as His death is crucial to fulfilling the prophecy. He was to be cut off after the end of the 69th week (Daniel 9:26) and that placed the timing of His death within the 70th week.

Do you have any thoughts on this? Do you believe that Christ's death was necessary to fulfill any of these things? If so, why don't you have His death occurring within any of the 70 weeks?

1. to finish the transgression

To finish the transgression (against the Mt. Sinai covenant) of worshiping idols

2. to make an end of sins

To make an end of sins' power to eternally separate man from God. By Jesus's death on the cross.

3. to make reconciliation for iniquity

To bring Daniel's people back into right relationship with God for the iniquity they did in worshipping false gods. By receiving forgiveness of their sins by what Jesus did on the cross, as atonement for sins committed.

4. to bring in everlasting righteousness

To bring the Kingdom of God to become the ruling kingdom on earth over all earthly kingdoms, at Jesus's Second Coming, at the end of the 70th week. Still future. Opening part of the Lord's prayer..........."thy kingdom come".

5. to seal up the vision and prophecy

To fulfill the time of the end vision about the little horn person, in Daniel 9:21, 22, 23, 24. To take place during the 70th week. Still future.

6. to anoint the most Holy.

God placing his Son Jesus on the throne of David as the rightful King of Israel. To take place at the end of the future 70th week.

The Jews will say... "blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord".

Hebrews 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Amen upon Amen, brother.

The vacuity and bankruptcy of all other explanations is contrastingly more than evident.

1. to finish the transgression

To finish the transgression (against the Mt. Sinai covenant) of worshiping idols
Please explain what you mean by this.

2. to make an end of sins

To make an end of sins' power to eternally separate man from God. By Jesus's death on the cross.
Okay, so you acknowledge that this one is fulfilled "By Jesus's death on the cross". And this is something that had to be fulfilled within the 70 weeks, right? So, why do you not have His death on the cross within any of the 70 weeks, considering that His death on the cross was necessary to fulfill at least one of the six things listed in Daniel 9:24? That does not make any sense.

3. to make reconciliation for iniquity

To bring Daniel's people back into right relationship with God for the iniquity they did in worshipping false gods. By receiving forgiveness of their sins by what Jesus did on the cross, as atonement for sins committed.
Jesus made reconciliation long ago already, right? Only He could do that.

Hebrews 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Did anything else need to be done to make reconciliation for iniquity? No, right? Jesus didn't say "It is finished" for nothing, right?

4. to bring in everlasting righteousness

To bring the Kingdom of God to become the ruling kingdom on earth over all earthly kingdoms, at Jesus's Second Coming, at the end of the 70th week. Still future. Opening part of the Lord's prayer..........."thy kingdom come".
There's one big problem for you to interpret this the way you are doing and claiming this happens at Jesus's second coming. How can you claim that everlasting righteousness will be brought in at that time considering that you believe a thousand years later a whole lot of unrighteousness will be occurring when Satan is loosed? So much for everlasting righteousness. No, everlasting righteousness in the way you're thinking of it will not occur until the eternal new heavens and new earth are ushered in.

Bringing in everlasting righteousness has to do with what Jesus did on the cross. You are not understanding that all of these things were accomplished by Jesus because only He could fulfill them. He brought about the opportunity for everlasting life and everlasting righteousness by way of His death and resurrection. That's what bringing in everlasting righteousness is about.

5. to seal up the vision and prophecy

To fulfill the time of the end vision about the little horn person, in Daniel 9:21, 22, 23, 24. To take place during the 70th week. Still future.
LOL. No, Daniel 9:24-27 is its own vision/prophecy. It's about the Messiah coming and then being cut off and confirming the new covenant while accomplishing all the things described in Daniel 9:24 in the process.

Was Jesus wrong when He said this:

Luke 18:31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

Daniel is one of the prophets Jesus was referring to who wrote about Him, right?

6. to anoint the most Holy.

God placing his Son Jesus on the throne of David as the rightful King of Israel. To take place at the end of the future 70th week.

The Jews will say... "blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord".
Is the following passage in your Bible which tells us that Jesus was placed on the throne of David upon His resurrection?

Acts 2:29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. 30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; 31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. 32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. 33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. 34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool. 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Did the 3,000 of Daniel's people who received Christ in Acts 2:41 experience any of what is listed in Daniel 9:24?

Please explain what you mean by this.
Judah had gotten into idol worship, i.e. other (false) gods. Such as Baal. Thus, transgressing the Mt. Sinai covenant to worship only the One True God. Note: in Daniel 9:2, Daniel referred to what Jeremiah the prophet said.

Jeremiah 19:3 And say, Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle.

4 Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;

5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:

No, the vision and prophecy associated with it is that of the time of the end little horn's activities.

Verse 21, Daniel recognizes Gabriel because of the encounter Daniel had before in Daniel 8 regarding the time of the end vision about the little horn person.

Daniel 9: 21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.

23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.

Daniel 9 is about the Jews as a whole embracing the gospel of Salvation. That will happen in the middle of the 70th week in Revelation 12:10.

The 3,000 Jews didn't belong to the whole?

What or who did they belong to?

Define "whole".

Then show us "whole" in Daniel 9.

6. To Anoint The Most Holy[/B]

I still don't get it? Why the last thing on the list is the very first thing fulfilled? Not according to me, but according to some of you and what you are applying that to. I would think that angel had better sense than that. If the idea was that number 6 is fulfilled first, he should have at least listed it first rather than last. When the angel mentioned the first 7 weeks, the 62 weeks, then the 70th week, he didn't apply any of that out of chronological order. Everything was/is fulfilled in the exact order he placed them. First the 7 weeks, then the 62 weeks, then the 70th week.

But in verse 24 this angel disregarded chronology altogether, thus trying to confuse us here if the last thing on this list is actually the first thing on that list that is fulfilled. Had he put that 'first' on the list, I might be inclined to agree that maybe it could be meaning what you are applying it to. But since he didn't, I see no reason to apply it to what you are applying it to. At least I'm trying to be somewhat objective here by saying that if he had listed that first, maybe then it could apply to what you are applying it to, meaning that I would be open to it involving that had he listed it first rather than last.

5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:
You make everything far more complicated than it needs to be. Finishing the transgression has nothing to do with any of that, but rather has to do with this:

Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace.

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Total nonsense. No, the 70 weeks is its own vision/prophecy. Daniel 8 has nothing to do with it whatsoever. Can you not see that Daniel 9:24-27 is about the first coming of Christ and Him being cut off, etc.? It's all about Him! Where do you see anything about Christ in Daniel 8?

Daniel 9 is about the Jews as a whole embracing the gospel of Salvation. That will happen in the middle of the 70th week in Revelation 12:10.
So, it isn't about Jesus making reconciliation for their iniquity? Tell me, is Jesus's death a vital part of fulfilling at least one of the six things listed in Daniel 9:24? You indicated that it was, right? So, tell me why you don't have His death occurring within any of the 70 weeks despite the fact that Daniel 9:24 could not be fulfilled apart from His death? It says He would be cut off after the end of the 69th week (Daniel 9:26). That places His death within the 70th week. Why can't you acknowledge this obvious fact?

So, the prophecy has nothing to do with all the Jews who have accepted Christ and have been saved for the past almost 2,000 years? Let me remind you of something you said earlier.

Douggg said:
2. to make an end of sins

Did Jesus not "make an end of sins' power to eternally separate man from God" for those Jews who have been saved the past almost 2,000 years? Did Jesus not make reconciliation for their iniquity? He certainly did, right? So, why do you try to say that the prophecy isn't about them? That contradicts what you said about the fulfillment of making an end of sins and making reconciliation for iniquity which you said were fulfilled "By Jesus's death on the cross".

Please consider the following...

Daniel 9:24 outlines six key objectives that the Messiah would accomplish, and the order in which they are listed follows a logical progression. First, the Messiah is said to "finish transgression," which means addressing humanity's rebellion against God. Next, He will "make an end of sins," or, breaking the power that sin has over people. After that, He will "make reconciliation for iniquity," He can notw restore the relationship between God and humanity. With sin dealt with and reconciliation achieved, the Messiah will then "bring in everlasting righteousness," establishing a new, righteous order that will last forever. God cannot be in the presence of sin. The next step, "sealing up vision and prophecy," suggests that once the Messiah’s work is completed, there will be no further need for prophecy, as everything foretold has been fulfilled. Finally, "anointing the most Holy" likely refers to the consecration of a new, holy reality, where God's presence is fully realized. This order highlights a movement from dealing with the immediate problem of sin to the ultimate goal of creating a righteous and holy state of existence.
