Yes indeed UNITY in THE FAITH , not unity for the sake of unity . for the latter is certain death .
UNITY in the things JESUS taught , that we grow up and are no longer tossed to and fro by the deceptoins of men
that we grow up and mature . There is a unity which seems right unto a man , there is a love that seems good unto a man
and yet its end is DEATH .
Just wanted to remind us all of this truth . THERE is a freedom which is bondage
there is a liberty which serves the flesh , and its end is death .
WE must learn the biblical defintions of such things . For many churches are following a way that seems right
yet its end is the second death . YE shall see it by ITS RECONCILATION .
Its reconcilation is not man unto GOD , for JESUS would be the focus the GOSPEL would be the focus ,
NO , its reconcilation is man to man , just gather with man and have unity . AND ITS DEADLY .
Our unity must be JESUS CENTERED , and we have unity with those LIKE MINDED .
We correct all error for the good of the others , and we point to JESUS .

1- I am talking about the doctrine here, not about the Trinity -- which, by the way, I challenge you to explain better that I do -- and the way you just won't acknowledge the verses I quoted is a very good example of how knowing the doctrine is worthless if you'll just ignore the parts of the doctrine that don't fit in your beliefs.
2- Jesus was clear that all the Law derive from loving God and loving our neighbor (Matthew 36:40) so no, knowing the doctrine is not that important. Loving is what matters. I'll add that the Pharisees did know their doctrine very well yet they didn't know God and they certainly weren't loving people.
What is wise is to believe this: the whole word of God is TRUTH, the Holy Spirit inspired holy men to write it,and God will back every truth,promise,blessing,reward,curse,punishment ect.
We do not live by denominational affiliation nor by the creeds,statements of faith ect.,that man has made by his feeble thinking on the word. We live,breath,move and have our being in GOD and his word!
Furthermore what man cannot do to inspire translations, God can make the word come alive in and of everything,so his TRUTH gets received.
The biggest part of the problem ISNT God,the word or doctrine.....but IT is man and his desire to be right and have his own conscience soothed instead of pricked.
SOUND DOCTRINE IS ONLY FOUND IN GODS WORD,ANYTHING ELSE IS JUST FLUFF !

Fine, let's talk about God's word! Do you really believe Revelation 22:16 (I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.) to be God's word, knowing "the bright Morning Star" is one of Lucifer's name?
And what about Leviticus 25:39-46 et Exodus 21:2-6 saying it is OK to buy and have slaves? This would also be the word of God? The word of a loving God, written by holy men?

Hold and cling to the biblical truth . For many are and shall perish under a delusion which has come
to unify this world and her religions to be as one .
The land will mourn ,
All who drank of the cup of the harlot and comitted fornication against GOD and against the lamb
by following her all inclusive lie , will drink of the cup of the wrath of all mighty GOD and of the Lamb .
heed not these many pastors who have sold the truth for a lie and have bought to themselves
wrath upon the day of wrath .
WE must return to those bibles and learn THAT GOD, THAT JESUS and do so well .

We have far too many crown takers in pulpits today . We MUST resist their mantra of unity and drink not of
the cup of a harlot . She has long cast off the cistern of the LORD , HIS LIVING WATERS ,
and has found her out cisterns which hold only polluted fouled putrid waters . That if a man drink thereof
he shall surely vomit and lose his sweet words . Her doctrine comes of her father and not OF THE FATHER , NOR OF CHRIST
whom HE DID send . Take not her cup into your lips , approach not her table to be seated before her delicacies
for though she serves what appears as fine meat and wonderous fruits of gold and of silver
WITHIN are worms and decay and death . Her outward appearance may appear righteous
but within her chambers and her doctrine is death .

That is a false statement. Lucifer is never called "the morning star". Here is the Hebrew of Isaiah 14:12 in the Leningrad Codex:
אֵ֛יךְ נָפַ֥לְתָּ מִשָּׁמַ֖יִם הֵילֵ֣ל בֶּן־שָׁ֑חַר נִגְדַּ֣עְתָּ לָאָ֔רֶץ חֹולֵ֖שׁ עַל־גֹּויִֽם
This is literally translated as "How you are fallen from heaven, Lucifer, son of the morning! [How] you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened on the nations!
And here is the King James translation: "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!"
Lucifer simply means "shining one" (as noted in both Strong's and Thayer's).

Part of Speech: Noun Masculine
Transliteration: helel
Phonetic Spelling: (hay-lale')
Definition: a shining one
So if any modern Bible version has corrupted this verse (and almost all have done this) and called Lucifer "the morning star", it should be rejected out of hand.

How do most people get their Christian beliefs?
A lot of people profess that their beliefs are Bible only or fundamentalists, but very few acquire their beliefs from the Bible alone.
Most people acquire their beliefs from traditions, stories, and songs and Theological clichés that are not in the Bible, and come from formulated doctrines centuries later and most of these are wrong. The Trinity and Original Sins, Fornication, and the Latin word Lucifer are not biblical words. And the belief that the Magi where three kings from the orient and that the Star hovered over the Nativity came from traditions and songs. And then there is the practice of trying to mix the Old Testament and the New Testament into one religion. Some are denominational specific terms, like Calvinism has a lot of misleading theological terms.
When these common beliefs clash with actual scriptures, usually the non-biblical beliefs win out. So then the actual scriptures are ignored or explained away.
Why do people favor non biblical beliefs? Most of it is due to a lack of biblical study and education and the fact that traditions are easier to understand. Sentence comprehension is an issue for a lot of people and the fact they are reading from a text that is 2000 years old and it written in a different time period and culture. Are the Ten Commandments in chapter 20 or chapter 34 of Exodus?…99% of people can not read that and figure it out….but the laws in chapter 20 are shorter and easier to understand. Just like traditional stories are easier to understand. Very few have a good command of the biblical languages so people can tell them anything.
What was the symbol of the Old Covenant? Most do not know.
I have a list of 300 of scriptures that seem to be contradictory, but most can be explained but few have the knowledge to do that, so over the years people have picked a side to believe, and either ignore the other scriptures or incorrectly explain away the ones they do not like, or clash with common beliefs. With all this going on it presents innumerable possibilities of choosing and assembling beliefs that are just arbitrary. So this is why we have over 30,000 denominations and millions of different personal beliefs.
Case in point, Lucifer....LOL...How much has been written about lucifer....another common belief that people have swallowed hook line a sinker. Lucifer is a Latin word, so it is impossible that it is in a Hebrew text...namely the Old Testament and should not be in an English Bible. It sounds sinister. But it is a female name and is the proper name of the plant Venus....in Latin....known as the morning star.
The conversation in chapter 14 of Isaiah is about a Pagan King. This is not a story about Satan and the word Lucifer does not appear in the actual scriptures, Old or New Testament. So the fact is, if you have a Bible with the name Lucifer in it, you need a more accurate Bible.

Do not promote false beliefs. Perversions of the Word of God. That maybe only part of the problem, the scriptures are nonsense to you so like I said, you chose non biblical traditions over the actual scriptures. Heylel is another topic. The topic at hand is the fact that some translations reword the scripture in Isaiah and add a word that is misleading. Why support a corrupted translation of that scripture? What and who influences you to do that?

There are many Latin and Greek words which have entered into the English language, so you do not have any reason to question this. Why not seek the truth instead of the word of man? As I explained people desire the word of man over the Word of God. Seek the truth. Do not promote lies. Follow God, not man.
Again as I said, people look to traditions to define their religion. This way of understanding promotes so may false beliefs. The scripture in Isaiah was completely reworded in some translations. Why believe a corruption of the scriptures? The context...the storyline is about a Pagan King, not Satan by any name.

Very , very , very few actually do acquire their true beleifs from bible alone .
I was raised in no church , its the bible i learned from my dear friend .
And its WHY i see so much error in many a denomination and a teaching today .
We should have truly learned that bible for ourselves is all i can say .
But its not too late . Pick it up and just start fresh and learn for yourselves .
