no the twelve preached his death and resurrection after Christ rose in Acts 2

Thanks. So we are in agreement then that they understood the death and resurrection of Jesus. There is nothing preventing them from preaching it, and they did.

Jesus spoke about his death and resurrection, before and following those events.

He didnt speak about this to Gentiles.

He did speak about "the Cup"
He did speak about "taking up His own life, after he laid it down".

What He didn't say was......."im going to die on the Cross for your sin".

See that?

That's the "Gospel"., = "WE preach Christ Crucified""..... and that came from Paul to us.

Not being flip but they say different things

I think that makes our respective positions clear to our readers.

Your position -> they say different things.

My position -> they say the same thing.

He didnt speak about this to Gentiles.

It spoke it to the apostles, all of them Jewish monotheists. All of them were then sent to speak it, to teach it, to preach it, to the nations.

He did speak about "the Cup"

@Doug and I have been able to agree that they all understood the death and resurrection of Jesus and that they all preached it everywhere they went.

I don’t think you’ll tell me that they didn’t understand that the Messiah died on the cross for the sin of mankind.

Paul said that it is of first importance, not that the gospel of God / the gospel of the kingdom which Jesus preached wasn’t important. He taught it.

Why is it of first importance? It is of first importance because if the resurrection didn’t happen then the gospel of the kingdom is a false gospel.

Now, will you tell me that the other apostles didn’t preach Messiah crucified?

That is Mark 16, and it didnt yield what you believe it did.

See, if you notice.......>Peter would have heard that, and yet, it was 10 yrs after Jesus is back in Heaven, before Peter began to understand that Christ came not just for Jews.

Acts 10, is when God had to give Peter a vision, to teach Him that Gentiles can be saved.
That is 10 yrs after "Pentecost"., and 10 Yrs after Jesus told them to go into all the world.
Also, Mark 16 is connecting Salvation with Water Baptism, so that is connecting it to Jews..

Whereas Paul's Gospel has no water baptism in it....because His Gospel is the "church age Gospel", that is "We preach Christ Crucified".

Notice..

There is no water baptism in Paul's Gospel.

There was one in Peter's, in Acts 2, because its not Paul's.

@Doug and I have been able to agree that they all understood the death and resurrection of Jesus

As i said...

The reason that Paul said that the Gospel that He preaches is "MY Gospel"....is because its unique.

This is why any other found today... is this..

= Galatians 1:8

Once all the Apostle met Paul, in Acts 15.....then they were all on the same page......regarding "Paul's Gospel".

Well they all teach Christ

Yes. Teaching Messiah is teaching everything connected with him, including his conception and birth, his teaching and preaching, his death, burial and resurrection, his ascension, and his future return to reign over the kingdom of God from his throne in Jerusalem.

You’re setting Paul against Jesus and the other apostles.

That’s not what I see in scripture.

Jesus commanded water baptism. All of the apostles baptized in water. They obeyed Jesus.

Water baptism is not the Gospel.
Its just symbolic.

So, when we are born again.....then after this, we are to be water baptized.

In other words, water baptism is subsequent to Salvation...

Now the "cult of mary" teaches.. "baptismal regeneration" which is a "doctrine of devils'..

This comes from their DEMONIC Douay Rheims false bible....... that says, you are "born again BY water"... and in fact you are not.
You are born again by the Holy Spirit......not by water, as the "cult of Mary" demonic bible teaches.... in Jn 3

This is the false teaching that "water washes away your sin".....or its the teaching that.>>"if you are not water baptized you are not saved".

Both are deceptions.

Paul teaches..

"Christ sent me not to water baptize"..........and the reason He said this is to make a clear distinction between the Cross as God's reconciliation, ............that has has nothing to do with water........so that this was not combined.

"water cults" like the "cult of mary" and similar who teach that Acts 2:38 is "the gospel" and "salvation" are trying to put water baptism as a part of Salvation and of course its not, as water is just water.

It is a commandment given by the Messiah. The apostles obeyed the Messiah. It isn’t optional.

So, when we are born again.....then after this, we are to be water baptized.

The apostles baptized in water those who believed the gospel. Acts 8:12 is a good example of this.

Now the "cult of mary" teaches.. "baptismal regeneration" which is a "doctrine of devils'..

This comes from their DEMONIC Douay Rheims false bible....... that says, you are "born again BY water"... and in fact you are not.

The apostles baptized in water, even Jesus himself was baptized and had people baptized in water. Water baptism isn’t “a water cult” in the negative sense of “cult”.

Concerning the parable of the sower @Behold: Is it applicable / relevant to all human beings or only to Jews?

We have to realize that when Jesus walked among Men as the God man, there was no New Testament.

This means that now that we are 2000 yrs after Jesus came to the "house of Israel" only........that everything has Changed.

Now we have a Cross, a "Body of Christ" and Paul's Gospel.

But at that time, when Jesus was giving Parables to the Jews..........was this aimed at the Born again Christians who didnt exits yet?

So, what we do.......is.......we read Paul's words.. that are often doctrine for the Church, and he says.>>"rightly divide the word of God".

And that means.>>Now that we are in the New Covenant, and God is dealing with Gentiles, "in the time of the Gentiles'... we are to notice distinctions in the BIBLE.. whereby some verses are not aimed at a Born Again Christian, specifically.

So, we can take all of Jesus's sayings, teachings, and use them....but not all are DOCTRINE for the Born Again Body of Christ.

Yes, all believers should be water baptized after they are converted.. after they are born again.

You can read Acts 8, and find Philip and the Eunuch, and the Eunuch is wanting to be Water Baptized........

Phillip tells him that he may be water baptized, AFTER He has believed in Jesus with all His Heart.....first.... as otherwise the Eunuch is just taking a warm bath in the road.

See Jesus told us.. "You must be born again"...and after that.......get water baptized every year if you want to do it.

Come to israel, and if im Home at that time i can dunk you in the Sea of Galilee.

Happy to do it for you.
We can film it in High Rez, and i can give you the Flash Drive and you can watch it over and over.
It would be a good memory.
And if you come back, we can go to the Red Sea, where Moses Crossed over, and we can water baptize you again.

My position is that it is applicable / relevant to all.

I just told you that when Jesus was on EARTH...there was no NEW TESTAMENT...........and Jesus was only dealing with the JEWS..

"The house of Israel..""

"Jesus came to HIS OWN.,. and HIS OWN received Him NOT" = THE JEWS

And until this very day, the Religious Jews in Jerusalem do not believe in Jesus.

My position is that it is applicable / relevant to all.

Of course it is.
The entire Bible is relevant to us all.
Its the word of God.

And in the NT..........New Covenant.. the "seed that is being Sown" is : Paul's Gospel......

Otherwise, its : Galatians 1:8

I don’t understand Jesus‘ command to be a “do it every year if want to do it” order. When it is to be done is demonstrated by the apostels.

Come to israel, and if im there at that time i can dunk you in the Sea of Galilee.

Thank you, no. I was baptized after I understood the gospel that Jesus and the apostles preached, believed it, and repented.

And until this very day, the Religious Jews in Jerusalem do not believe in Jesus.

Some Jews believed in Jesus - they believed the gospel which they heard him preach and repented - and more heard him preaching through the witness, testimony and preaching of Peter on the day of Pentecost, and many have believed in him since.

Then the same gospel was delivered to the gentiles. Many of them believed and repented.

The gospel of the kingdom, which is the gospel of God, is the saving message.

Of course it is.
The entire Bible is relevant to us all.
Its the word of God.

The parable of the sower is connected by Jesus with the gospel he preached. The gospel of the kingdom is the word, the word of God, the word of the kingdom.

And in the NT..........New Covenant.. the "seed that is being Sown" is : Paul's Gospel......

Otherwise, its : Galatians 1:8

It is Paul’s gospel because it is the Messiah’s gospel. There is only one gospel. It hasn’t changed. The Messiah preached it and all of the apostles did too.

This is what I preach to anyone and everyone who is interested in the Messiah.

Think of it like this..

If you JOIN The Army.......they give you a uniform........because you have joined the Army.

= If you are born again, you then go and get water baptized because you have joined God spiritually.

See, you can put on an Army Uniform, but if you are not joined up......if you are not in the Army, then the uniform has no meaning.

And you can be water baptized, but if you are not already BORN AGAIN......then the water baptism is meaningless.

Thank you, no. I was baptized after I understood the gospel that Jesus and the apostles preached, believed it, and repented.

I was water baptized 11 years after i was born again, and 4 yrs after i was called into the Ministry.

Water baptism is required in order to be in the Messiah’s army. The order was issued by the supreme commander.

I was water baptized 11 years after i was born again, and 4 yrs after i was called into the Ministry.
