Matthew 25 still speaking of his return, when was stated back in the chapters progressing from 22-25, Jesus states about his coming back and how the bride would be saved and the others would be punished. While I don’t believe in eternal conscious torment, there still was a punishment coming as the “Day of the LORD” had continued nearing its pathway unto the people of Israel. Because in the Law there was punishments and blessings for the people of Israel and because of them unrelenting in unrepenting for their doings, and also killing the Son of God they would receive age-during punishment.
