Who is it that makes unwarranted and unsupported assumptions? YOUThat Amos 5 passage is only in relation to what will happen to unbelievers when Christ returns, so you should not try to apply it to everyone. Believers, in contrast, will be changed to put on bodily immortality and caught up to meet Christ in the air on the day of the Lord and will then be with Him forever.
Amos 5 and all the other graphic Prophesies about the forthcoming Day of the Lords fiery wrath, makes no distinctions. ALL people will experience that terrible Day.
Scripture makes it clear that all the dead 'sleep' in their graves, only raised for Judgment at the GWT, a thousand years after Jesus Returns.
Of course, you and everyone who has chosen to believe false theories, cannot see or hear the Prophetic truths. Isaiah 29:9-12I see only your words, which mean nothing to me, and no scripture to back them up. What do you think you accomplish by making these claims that you can't back up with scripture?
