Interesting! We are told principalities have control over regions of the world influencing them in evil ways. The Spirit of tolerance and sexual liberty sounds about right for this movement in the west. Appeasing and accepting the LGBTQ movement, tolerating sin in general, we can see the Women's Lib movement, DEI, etc.
Other regions have principalities in charge of Islam, Hindus, Buddhists, even atheists and their TOE. Then of course this movement towards a One World Government will lead all to discard all previous religions and receive the Mark of the Beast. He appears, the ANTICHRIST, possessed by Satan himself, claiming to be God and demands worship and obedience.
I think Klaus Schwab is just a puppet for Satan, preparing the way. He is supposed to retire this year and be replaced by Bjorg Brend. What a name, like that sci-fi Star Trek character, the Borg.
Well, Trump just gave them all a slap in their faces last week at the Davos meetimg. God is certainly using Trump to fight against these evil entities and their mission. This is a pivotal time in history when the world needs to take sides, either with Christ or the Beast. It will be tough especially if we cannot buy or sell unless we choose the Beast. Get ready.

Wasn't the most vile cities Sodom and Gomorrah? So much of an abomination that God destroyed that city? And isn't it prophesied that in the last days it will be like Sodom and Gomorrah, even worse? I don't condone all these immoral acts but I do praise God for fulfillment of prophesy in that it is even closer to the day our Lord will return.

As more and more of this evil is revealed, we need more godly pastors speaking out against it.

Short video. This pastor says they have the spirit of Jezebel.
Mark Driscoll?

When I was growing up we hardly ever heard of a divorce....only knew of one and we were shocked. Would never have believed the stuff going on today being accepted as normal.

Mark Driscoll?
No,no,no,no.
I'm not familiar with him. But the message was good.

Same here...and the Civil Rights Movement (which I highly respected) open doors for Women's rights, Gay rights, and any other kind of rights....what God meant for good was used to promote evil.

Well your point is duly noted, however, references of historic events are simply informative facts that teach us how we have evolved into the society we are now.
Everything in the world is outside of Him. This forum is outside of Him, you are outside of Him. So what must we do to gain access into His Holy Realm? Repent and be baptized as John the preacher said continually.

Forgive me, I didn’t intend to come across in a corrective tone. I agree with what you said and just added my thoughts to it.

Not according to our Lord:
Matthew 10:14-15
14 If any household or town refuses to welcome you or listen to your message, shake its dust from your feet as you leave. 15 I tell you the truth, the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah will be better off than such a town on the judgment day.

And isn't it prophesied that in the last days it will be like Sodom and Gomorrah, even worse?
Noah's day also.
Luke 17:26-30
26 “When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. 27 In those days, the people enjoyed banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat and the flood came and destroyed them all.

28 “And the world will be as it was in the days of Lot. People went about their daily business—eating and drinking, buying and selling, farming and building— 29 until the morning Lot left Sodom. Then fire and burning sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Yes, it will be ‘business as usual’ right up to the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

the Civil Rights Movement (which I highly respected)
The Civil Rights Movement is a reaction to the consequences of the detestable Abolitionist movement a century prior. Why detestable? Other countries resolved their slavery institution peacefully by adopting compensated emancipation.

Let's not kid ourselves. Christianity did not after 19 centuries suddenly acquire a moral code. The Industrial Revolution and capitalism developed in the 17 and 18th centuries made the institution of slavery no longer economically viable; The properly motivated free man could outproduce a slave. The economic driver is not the cost of the laborer but the productivity of the laborer.

Slavery is an economic system accepted in the Bible. Remember, the people of Egypt offered themselves as slaves as a viable means to survive? The central message of Scripture is Pro-Life, choose life. Many came to America as indentured servants as the only way to pay the cost of transport. This was to ultimately have a better life. NOTE: The 13A does not prohibit voluntary servitude.

You shall not steal is the Biblical principle the Abolitionists rejected. There is no such thing as civil rights, only property rights. (What we call "civil rights" is really government usurping property rights). Not differentiating among species of property, let's consider the economic use of buying a slave, a car or a house. Everyone knows it is costs more to buy than to rent for a day. Why is that? Utility. People would be understandably upset if they bought a slave, a car or a house, with the legal and economic expectation of a lifetime of use - but then others want to change the rules to end property rights without compensating for the loss of economic use.

The slave buyer is analogous to the drug buyer, who is seen today as a pawn. It is the drug seller that draws the ire of society. Have you ever thought why it is the slave seller is not so condemned? History is written by the victor and the North had the commercial fleet to benefit from slave selling. Then, they blamed the buyer for all the subsequent problems.

The consequences of violating God's word is seen throughout human history. Slavery, itself, was instituted by God who cursed Ham for sinning against Noah, Curse of Ham - Wikipedia. The devil seeks through the alphabet people to take advantage of our mercy. See "tolerance is not a Christian virtue” by Archbishop Chaput. Because we are a fallen world, the pendulum of justice never stops in the middle. We always go too far, one way or another. As you said, what God meant for good, the devil twists. <sigh>

@Wrangler, to be honest I have had times when I was really disgusted with humanity and was even remorseful for having ancestors who may have been part of the evils of the past.

But then I repent and praise God that He is doing a new thing in his children. We won't be like this forever.

God Bless

You know Debp I heard the longer version of that video a year or so ago, it was some time back, and I thought he was spot on with alot of it. The pain in the rear with posting someone elses teaching (when you stumble on a decent one) even when you do not even follow the guy is that if somewhere on the internet that person got it really wrong (even the teaching you are sharing is decent) he will often not be received. And to be honest there are more than a few that got it so wrong in my own estimation that I allow myself the same space, so I understand. I think we can all be that way to one extent or another.

I hate it when I really like someones teaching (on godliness, lets say) and have followed along for awhile really enjoying what they are putting out, but then hear that person said something so off the wall (or did something) that I cannot listen to them any longer. I do the same thing.

I thought it was good Debp

I dunno,let's see.

Did 40 elders of Mars Hill church sign a directive, in accord, stating Paul Mark Driscoll was unfit to pastor?

He very well could be unfit to do so, but his observation was still right on with what he shared regardless.

If I found out your were married several times (your kids never listened to you) and rejected some of the apostles but shared a decent insight with me, I could still accept the insight you shared with me if it were true but still consider you as being unfit to be one of those blameless bishops.

Besides most folks in the churches are unfit for such a postion anyway. A blameless man is a rare find.

"Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them’' Matthew 7.20

‘Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit’ Matthew 7.15-18

In 2013 pastor John MacArthur held a Christian conference entitled, Strange Fire.

Outside on the steps of the venue, while the conference was in operation Driscoll shows up uninvited and tried to gain entry so to promote his latest book.
Driscoll has also been accused of Plagiarism.

Security had met him as soon as he arrived. He was denied access. In response Driscoll was allowed to leave the books with the security team, the MacArthur ministry, and left.

Later, Driscoll lied as he claimed the security team had confiscated his books.

Mind you, this encounter was being recorded.
