Scientists seek continually for the "Theory of Everything"...that is one theory that ties in and harmonizes the law of the Big (the ways of the universe, gravity etc...) together with the law of the Small (quantum theory). The subject is vast and is far beyond the mortal mind to grasp. I don't believe the link will ever be found...because God has separated these just as He has separated the personal and corporate functions of the Ekklesia.

For the corporate aspect of the Ekklesia we will call this the law of the Big. For the personal aspect we will call this the law of the Small.

Now the word "quantum" involves the small things...which are basically unpredictable....just as we each are.

Quantum: A required or allowed amount.

We each have an amount or measure of faith. We can use this as we see fit. We have the freedom to trust or not in what we see as right. Every action is (whether knowingly or not) based on what we think is right.

Everyone will be judged by his or her thoughts and deeds. We are each responsible for our own attitudes and conduct.

But none of this is a deciding factor for the existence of Ekklesia....as the corporate aspect does not respect persons. Our choices do not affect the Ekklesia...just if we will be part of it or not personally in experience. It is based on law the way gravity does. If we do not get the understand right on the corporate level...we never make it to the experience of Ekklesia.

So then the Ekklesia is the experience of God in our midst...a God who rules over the whole universe. We can certainty play at church....but it will look nothing like the real expression of God's presence and power as per the testimony of the bible.

We have each been given a measure of faith. No two people have exactly the same amount. It is quantum. No one can control, manipulate, or limit the faith of another. God decides these things. Even what we do about that faith is up to each individual.

The corporate Ekklesia is not about controlling or using the faith of others. The Ekklesia is there to influence people on the individual level...as each permits that influence to be regarded...AND on a more universal level...influences on the level of the principalities and powers....the exousia that influences the world.

Now the church in our time...apart from not seeing the big picture, has allowed the existing exousia (the forces of the devil) to subvert the way in Christ...and this to such an extent where all available faith and understanding has been put into a wrong perspective. When the church doesn't take it's place in exercising the exousia of God, the resulting vacuum is taken up by the devil. That is the way of things on the corporate level. Just as when we do not fulfill our part in the covenant of God which is by grace...we get turned aside to fables and all manner of doctrines that bring no life.

We must begin with a closer look at the personal level.

I have come to see the following formula as true in regards to our personal faith and choices....

Our cross in our strength//// His cross in His strength.

The first step towards a true faith in Christ is to forsake the world. There is no mixture with God. He is holy. Unless we forsake the world, we cannot be followers of Christ. We are to forsake all we have. We are to count all things as loss in order to win Christ....personally.

In some cultures...where monkeys are eaten as food...a bottle is used to catch the monkey by his hand. A shiny object is placed at the bottom of the bottle so that as the monkey grasps the object...the neck of the bottle impedes the hand from getting the hand out. The monkey will not let go of the coveted object...so that as long as it grasps the object it cannot go free. Many monkeys are caught in this way.

So it is with us and the world. As long as we hold the things of this world so dearly that we can't let go....we will not be able to be free and advance with the Lord. We will become the prey of the enemy. Love not the world or the things of the world...and so come under the love, mercy and freedom of God.
